This is a great community. The staff are nice and caring. The meals are good and a variety. The community is always clean and very enjoyable. The activiites are offer for the residents that want to participate. We would highly recommend this community to other for good care and a good value for a loved one.
My dad has only been at Kina Ole for a few weeks but it is hard to imagine him getting better care anywhere else. The staff has spent countless hours getting to know him and his likes/dislikes-even asking for him to teach them words in Chinese so he will feel more comfortable. The small home setting has made his transition to assisted living from living alone a lot easier! It feels more like a home than assisted living.
