The facility is pretty nice, I think some things could be upgraded. But mom is very pleased. The staff is very friendly and quick to address any issues we have. They do housekeeping often and her room is very clean. The food is good, mom is happy with it. Communication with the family is very good. They do have transportation for appointments and dining, which is great. I would recommend them to friends and family.

So far the experience with the community has been great. The staff is always been so helpful to me as well as mother. But I have found there seems to be an underlying support from the family members of the residence. That was some thing that was unexpected. It's new for all of us and we've shared little bits here and there to help each other out. They do go on outings, my mother has been to the zoo. There are several churches that have them either come by for entertainment and snacks or they come to them. They have gone out to eat several times at local restaurants or for ice cream. And then the occasional bus ride on a pretty day or to see Christmas lights.

I have been very pleased with the quality of care my mother has been receiving at this community. She has been participating in many of the activities they have to offer and enjoying the company of the other residents. She has had no complaints about the food and has had good nutrition provided to her since moving in to this facility. Overall I have no complaints.

All 5's! We are very pleased. What we like the most about Legacy Ridge at Trussville is the staff. The staff have all been great. Communication with them is easy. Lots of activities, but not too many.
