The Atlantic at Twin Hickory in Glen Allen, VA

We are at happy here at Atlantic Twin Hickory. Our two bedroom unit is quiet and was just what we were looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is not a issue Location is great close to all that Short Pump has to offer.

Elizabeth House Assisted Living in Glen Allen, VA
4.6

Elizabeth House is a great value compared to other facilities we looked at. They just don't have many activities for the patients. I have only heard about Bingo, they do that 2 or 3 times a week. They did have a Halloween thing but there aren't many activities throughout the week (at least as far as I know). I think incorporating something, almost daily, would be great. Of course, that would probably require more staffing. Just a thought

Senior apartments in Virginia are not subject to state licensing or regular inspections by state agencies. As such, they are subject to local building codes, zoning regulations, and health and safety standards, but are not required to be licensed by the state. However, according to Virginia law, “localities may inspect residential rental dwelling units. The local governing body may adopt an ordinance to inspect residential rental dwelling units for compliance with the Building Code and to promote safe, decent and sanitary housing for its citizens.”
