After losing my husband of 48 years in death, selling our home of 30 years because it was to big, and falling into a state of depression, my son and daughter decided I needed a new scenery and Southwinds became my new home and I LOVE IT. This Facility provides the Gated Security that I was looking for and provides all of the extra Activities and Amenities that you could ask for and each floor is pristine clean. Everyone is friendly and always ready to lend a helping hand. The Management Staff is Friendly, Observant, Professional, and extremely Knowledgeable of the care and daily operation of the building. Living here has really helped me through this transition and I'm proud to call Southwinds HOME.

Charging seniors on a fixed income for $[removed], is not right. That is a mortgage payment. And the studio appt. What? $[removed] then they pay trash and electric? Let me know if I'm wrong. I believe rent should be cheaper. Another bldg going up for another 100 renters. Someone is making the big bucks. You asked me my opinion.

I am overwhelmed with the quality of care. Can't ask for anything better, keep up the fantastic work.

Southwinds has been great! Definitely check it out and consider it for your loved one. It is very well-kept, has great management, and is a great, safe community for my mom.

Had such a pleasant experience with [name removed] touring the community and even though I'm not moving at this time I would recommend this community to everyone! The fact that there is a secured gate and you need to call to enter the building was a plus!

I absolutely love this place. There are functions that the residents host with food or dancing, cards and exercise. The apartments are very spacious and the building I'm at provide a resident storage area. The office staff is very nice and always accommodating and professional. The maintenance has always been on time with fixing anything that needs attention and the buildings are kept clean at all times.

The first thing that stood out to us was the overall cleanliness, that would get a 5+. Presentation wise everything is very well decorated and not just during the holiday season. Everything is put together so well, its very inviting, all of the shared spaces have nice furniture. Also, you can really tell this community was set up well to be accessible to everyone, whether you can walk on your own, use a walker or have a wheelchair you can get everywhere. The parking lot is on the same floor so you don't have to use any stairs, the parking lot has benches in case you get tired from walking you can sit down and rest. They really cater to all of their clients needs, and it is just a well thought out building.

This community is very clean, and is all independent living and its completely gated in. Our loved one lives in an apartment and is very spacious. You do cook for yourself but the community will make little treats like donuts or bagels on Fridays and leave them on the ledges for the residents to enjoy. Before COVID they have card games, bible studies, and movie nights every week. There is also a bus that comes once or twice a week that takes the residents to the mall or Walmart. They also have a call button in every room of the apartment in case something happens, you just have to push it and help will be on its way.

I would recommend this community. Everyone is sociable, the staff is professional and courtesy. The community has spacious rooms, worth the value, and the accommodating. Southwinds is located near shopping centers. If you have a vehicle they are very close, and they have delivery service from the shops. The community does have transportation available. They have a large social room available to be able to meet other residents. The activities include: religious, theater, and many other activities. These are just starting back up due to COVID All buildings have their own social settings.

The staff meeting and fellow residents have been extremely friendly and welcoming.from the first day I began my move and continue to be. The activities that have been planned have been enjoyable to take part in. These have included a social hour every Friday evening, movies with popcorn, games and dances. I do like the security of the complex and each building.

I love everything about living here. I am on the fourth floor and I have a beautiful view from my balcony and there is an elavator so I don't have to climb stairs. I have a full kitchen with all new appliances and my bathroom is amazing! The staff are great all very nice even the maintenance man . I really haven't started taking part in the activities but they do have special events like the Happy hour that are available. I would recommend my community and I would encourage you to walk around and see just how friendly and welcoming everyone is here.

Wow! This community is awesome. The amenities, size of the apartments, serene view, and luxury-style living are so very nice. [Removed] are wonderful ladies and I so appreciate their working with me to help my mom find something that works for her. The residents and staff are very friendly.

I'am very satisfied with my move to this community. There is always something for me to do. There are many activities offered though out the week. The staff is wonderful, they have been very responsive to my concerns. They do a very good job of the cleanliness of the community. The grounds look lovely, I enjoy walking around the grounds. A place for mom was great with all the help they provided, they are good at what they do. I would highly recommend these Senior Apartments to anyone.

The people at the front desk are accommodating and helpful. My friends have moved into a new building that is currently only about a third full. They offer daily activities such as movie night, a pool, a card room and an exercise room. They have no worries if something happens to one of them as they know the other will be taken care of.

come join this community. It is more than a community, it is one large family in one big house. It is great here.

They seem pretty happy and seem to like it pretty well. You can have a party for an anneversary or something, which is a nice amenity. There have been a few times when some young people have been invited to a party a resident will host and it can get a little loud. There is a little cafeteria area where they can have coffee and things. They have a shuttle to take you places. They don't have any complaints. We chose this for the low crime area, and because it's close to shopping, and it's a gated community.

Outrageously Gorgeous friendly, everything under one roof. Heavenly. No one would ever come see me. too far from my friends.

This is the newer of the two Southwinds buildings and it is really nice. I was immediately impressed with the beautiful lobby and the bistro (both buildings have a bistro). The apartments on the upper floors have a balcony and the rooms are adequately sized. As with Southwinds I, this building seems very well maintained and I like that the residents have a shelf outside their door to decorate as they please. Apartments at both Southwinds are reasonably priced considering the location and the amenities. Staff was friendly but was unprepared for my site visit for some reason. If not for medical concerns, I would strongly recommend Southwinds II to my parents.

This is strictly an Active Adult Community, as advertised. The apartment building is very pretty, seems well maintained and is nicely appointed. Residents I spoke with seem very happy with the amenities provided and the rooms are a comfortable size. There is, however, no transition arrangement for when/if a resident may need an assisted living situation. The setting surrounding the building is quiet and serene with a lovely view. The apartments are fairly spacious and provide all necessary appliances. This would be an ideal situation, if Mom and Dad were 10 years younger and in better health.
