So impressed with all the staff, their kindness and professionalism. They are so positive and really understand what their clients are experiencing. I can pick up the phone to call and talk to [name removed] and it doesn't matter which one answers. My parents are happy and we are at rest knowing they are in excellent hands. Just wish we could clone them and set up in St Louis for another loved one of mine.
We moved him from NHC in Bluffton to Harbor Cove. The staff at Harbor Cove was very caring, which we did not experience at NHC. I wish we'd moved him to Harbor Cove earlier. It is a smaller place, but staff was fantastic with him.
This has been a great place for my mother to live during her retirement as she has aged and her health needs have increased. The Marshes have been fantastic in stepping up to help her maintain her independence. The presence of the Oaks and physical therapy services for post hospital rehab is a god send. Other residents can visit the recovering patient which helps alot. Home care plus visits in the home are also a wonderful addition to help family, living long distance, have peace of mind that some one is checking on the resident. However, I feel they need to step up a little with the entertainment and social events since Covid started. Elderly people need time with friends. The restrictions have left them isolated and lonely. All residents are vaccinated so put on some functions with social distancing. Closing the dining rooms has created a great void for residents to see friends. A ride on the bus around town would be a welcome change for these residents and no exposure to Covid!
