I would highly recommend Homestead. I would be happy to live there if I ever become unable to care for myself. The kitchen around mealtime smelled wonderful. Lots of areas to gather and socialize. Wide hallways with sitting areas spaced out so you can rest if you have a long trek to the mess hall. Pleasant staff. Clean.
It seems like all the residents get good care, and the nurses and CNA's all know their patients names. They are unfortunately understaffed.
We moved my mother-in-law to Windsor Manor two weeks ago and both she and her family are happy with every aspect of the place.
