The biggest thing was that every staff member that I talked to genuinely cared. I could not say enough about the staff there. The community is clean and the rooms are really nice and updated it is just a really nice place for your loved one. The staff communicated very well and explained everything that needed to be done. I had an issue with billing once and they took care of it quickly and always returned calls quickly whenever I called them.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home community offers lodging to at least two individuals who have no familial ties to the administrator. A nursing home community offers its occupants 24-hour care administered by registered nurses. These nurses provide maintenance, personal care and other health related services for seniors who cannot adequately take care of their own needs.
Nursing homes can be a helpful and comfortable care alternative for individuals 65 years or older, however nursing homes will allow access to individuals 55 and above infrequently heard of in senior care regarding alternate care types. Types of care services and amenities provided at nursing homes can include room and board, home care (like cooking, cleaning, or help with other daily activities), help with shopping and transportation, and 24-hour emergency care. A large number of nursing home residents are seniors who have incontinence issues, require assistance with daily tasks such as walking, have a physical or mental disability, or experience difficulty with vision and hearing. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to have your representative notified about your care, be treated with respect, to manage your money, and be free from discrimination. Nursing homes are required to provide specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), dietary services, routine personal hygiene items, and a professionallly directed program of activities to residents. Many occupants of nursing homes may have behavioral problems, which can consist of resisting assistance, verbal outbursts, or a tendency to wander.
