Grace Assisted Living at Twin Falls

I would recommend it to others. Friendly staff and activities. Grace had a good reputation, it was clean, comfortable and most affordable over other assisted living facilities.

Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls, ID
4.9

There is a lot we like about the Bridgeview Estates community. The price is good for the size and community amenities. The independent living style is a big plus. We would most definitely recommend this community to other families.

Canyons Retirement Community in Twin Falls, ID
4.3

The community is friendly, caring, responsive, and has well maintained décor. I like that the community has private rooms with really nice private bathrooms that are well designed, and has a home like feel to it. The staff are good to work with and they are willing to keep the family updated on our loved one. There is an administrative team and they are willing to work as a team to find a resolution to any concerns the family has, and answer our questions.

Nursing Homes

A nursing home is an establishment that houses at least two seniors who are not related by marriage or by blood to the administrator. A nursing home community offers its inhabitants around-the-clock care by on-site nurses. These caregivers provide care for those who are unable to adequately care for their needs.

This type of community is a helpful and comfortable living alternative for individuals 65 years or older, however nursing homes will often take in individuals 55 and greater (a rarity in the world of senior care).Often times seniors might prefer to live in a nursing home over another type of community due to a mental or physical condition that makes it difficult for them to accomplish their lifestyle goals. Nursing homes are required to provide room and bed maintenance services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), routine personal hygiene items, and emergency dental services to residents. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get proper medical care, make complaints, be free from discrimination, and participate in activities. Some services come at an extra cost which can include personal comfort items, special care services not included in the community’s Medicaid payment, and personal reading materials. Many residents of nursing homes may have behavioral problems, which can consist of resisting assistance, a tendency to wander, or verbal outbursts.
