I would recommend Avila Senior Living at Downtown SLO. It's a small community feel. If you want extra special food, it may not meet your wants. But the food is cooked fresh and is planned by a nutritionist. You need patience waiting for food to be served sometimes. All of my needs are met and I feel safe.
They have a high level of Alzheimer's care at The Village. My grandpa was doing well after he moved in. The staff were friendly and encouraged him to participate in the activities. He made some new friends during his short time at this community.
