Oak Park Place Menasha has been a great place for my mom. Mom is in the Memory Care area and they really do a nice job. I’d like to specifically call out the Activities staff, they really keep everyone involved, mom really enjoys it there. The facility is very nice, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in need.
Aspire is a well run facility. Their staff are invested in providing quality care. They're friendly and helpful. We appreciate that they have varied increments of support. The initial independent living costs include 0 to 7 hours of caregiving support at no additional cost. That's the level of care my parents required initially. Now, after residing there for about a year, each is now at the 7 to 14 hours per week. The extra charges for that are reasonable. My parents can remain in their accommodation and each receive up to 28 hours per week of personal care assistance. The three of us adult children think this is wonderful.
Our experience with Island Shores has been a very good one overall. The facility is clean and well kept, and the person that we worked with, Rebecca, was a huge help throughout the whole process.

Many seniors may be capable of living without assistance, but cost of owning a home and the maintenance of the property might deter them from living an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient solution. Daily needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are accounted for, allowing occupants more free time to live active lives as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they prefer. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent caregivers. There are a number of benefits and expenses to consider while choosing an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are included in your plan: meals, laundry, move-in fee, transportation, housekeeping, utilities, field trips, and initial assessment fee. The benefits and amenities associated with independent living include golf course, laundry service, security guards, restaurant-style dining hall, community activities, beauty salon & barber shop, concierge services, and fitness center & swimming pool.
