Overall I think it is a really great place and I would absolutely recommend them. The biggest complaint is the food, she does not like it at all. The vegetables are hard and it makes it tough to chew. Same thing with most of the meat. The deserts maybe only a quarter of the time are good. The food is something that definitely needs improvements.

Grace Lodge Assisted Living in Rhinelander, WI

Grace lodge is a beautiful facility, with a manager who listens to what you have to say. Every individual that works there, no matter what capacity is friendly, and helpful. I love having my mother there, because I know she is being well cared for and safe . That is so important to me as her daughter. Thank you all so very much.

This is a very nice community. The staff are really pleasant, kind, and good to my loved one. [Name removed] was exceptional in helping us out. The staff are very responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns I have. The food is excellent for my loved one. Some of the activities available include tasting parties, bingo, card games, movies, and more for the residents to choose from. The community has a doctor that comes into the community to see the residents in their rooms.

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide individuals with a handy harmony between living an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with the maintenance of basic tasks and chores. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and meal planning are accounted for, allowing residents more opportunities to live their lives as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with independent care providers as desired. It is important to determine if these services are covered in the plan: initial assessment fee, transportation, internet access, housekeeping, utilities, laundry, cable TV, and field trips.
