Care Partners Assisted Living Hortonville
4.7

I would give it the same rating except a 5 for value. My sister would probably do the same. The activity rating wasn't given because Ed didn't do activities. Several times I saw them doing group activities and the residents seemed engaged and having a good time. I would put a solid 4 down for that. I would recommend Care Partners Hortonville to others.

Shawano Place Senior Living
5.0

I recently moved my father to Shawano Place. The Administrator did an amazing job with getting the admission process completed fast, after my family and I made a last minute decision. She went above and beyond, what we expected. My father has been there for a month now, and loves the place. Thanks Shawano Place.

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community permits residents the opportunity to live an active lifestyle while guaranteeing their basic needs are being fulfilled. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and meal planning are accounted for, which provides occupants more free time to live their lives as they wish. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they choose. While policies vary between locations, numerous residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of independent health care providers, they always have the option. There are a number of costs and advantages to consider while deciding on an independent living community. The amenities associated with independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, restaurant-style dining hall, security guards, laundry service, concierge services, golf course, private rental hall, and transportation.
