The staff were amazing!! They were extremely friendly and genuinely kind. The room was very nice for moms respite care. The only draw back was having to supply our own bed linens and pillows and towels. Made a lot to carry in but they have carts to roll things in so it's fine

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide individuals with a convenient equilibrium between living an independent lifestyle and not having to worry about housekeeping. Basic chores such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they wish, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of private health care providers, they may always do so. There are a variety of expenditures and benefits to balance while choosing an independent living community. It is important to determine if these amenities are included in the plan: meals, wellness program, internet access, field trips, move-in fee, parking, private phone, and housekeeping. The benefits and amenities that pertain to independent living include restaurant-style dining hall, game/TV room, beauty salon & barber shop, healthcare center, transportation, security guards, concierge services, and laundry service.
