The wait staff, housekeeping and management are all great. They are always there to help in anyway they can. The food is good and they offer healthy choices. They keep the community very clean. They offer daily social activities. I would recommend this community.
The Good: This is a very attractive residence with great facilities and a diverse social program - a cruise ship on land. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They seem to make a point of quickly learning each resident's name and take time to interact with and listen to them. I have also been impressed with the ethos around offering as close to a home-like experience as possible, including tea, coffee and goodies on constant tap. My mother-in-law's room overlooks Kingston's ever-busy Princess Street but the sound insulation is great and the noise does not disturb her sleep. Pricing relative to other facilities in the area is competitive. The Not So Good: My mother-in-law's only (though frequent) complaint has been with the calibre of the food (cold, tough, drowned in gravy). Recent staffing changes (July 2017) will hopefully result in much-needed improvements. I have observed some disconnect between the front desk and back office but this has been more of a minor irritant rather than a real problem.
