We are very happy with the care and attention our loved is getting at Bay City. The activities person is always thinking of fun things to do i.e. indoor baseball games, cooking classes, dances etc. The staff take good care of our loved one and the residents appear to be happy.
The staff is great and caring at Rachel Sovereign Memorial Home. My mom loves the food. She said it is very tasty and they are accommodating to her special requests. She is lactose intolerant. [Name removed], the manager, is always available and great to work with. My mother has never complained to me about anything. The building is very homelike and cozy and clean. I think it's great that it's only women. She has also told me they are great about washing her clothes and getting them back to her. The price is so much better than other facilities and so worth it.
This is by far the best community The care is top notch. The events. are plenty & so much fern. The most active community I have seen the most caring. And most important is that my mom is thriing.

For many seniors, cost of owning a home might be a deterrent to enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient remedy. Basic tasks such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is provided, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they wish, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies differ between communities, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of independent health care providers, they always have the option. There are a variety of costs and benefits to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are covered in the service plan: housekeeping, wellness program, meals, transportation, cable TV, utilities, initial assessment fee, and move-in fee. The benefits that pertain to independent living include healthcare center, fitness center & swimming pool, private rental hall, security guards, beauty salon & barber shop, community activities, concierge services, and laundry service.
