My mother does not require a lot of "hands on" care at present. I don't have enough knowledge of what alternative offerings might be when it comes to the activities. The value for cost seems high but apparently in-line with other facilities in this area. However we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
Overall, my experience has been very good. I had one or two problems with meds being given properly and my Father likes to complain about the food. Other than that, it's been a smooth experience. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families! I just recommend them for another family member (Uncle) that is looking for a place. I told my cousin to reach out to A place for Mom.
Everyone goes over and above. True story--[name removed] has a gorgeous asparagus patch on her homestead. The head cook let me bring in her final picking for the season and he prepared it just for her. It meant the world to her.
