Eastgate Village in Cincinnati, OH
5.0

We are happy that our mom feels safe, comfortable, and she absolutely loves the facility and staff, thank you Eastgate Village for the peace of mind she has and our family, too!!! We have nothing goos to say about Eastgate Village and would recommend them to anyone facing a similar situation with a loved one making the move to assisted living.

Brookdale Finneytown (Offering HealthPlus) in Cincinnati, OH
3.9

The staff was very nice, but there seemed to be a lot of turnover. I would usually be the one to initiate communication, but they would let me know if she fell. Housekeeping couldn't keep Mom's clothes together. She had other people's clothes, at times. Her bathroom didn't smell good. When hospice was called in, her level of care improved.

Serene Suites Premier Memory Care and Assisted Living in Cincinnati, OH
4.3

This is a clean, attractive community, and the staff are very personable. They get to know the residents well. The staff communication with the family is good, and the owner is very open to answer our questions directly. There are three meals a day served to the residents. My loved one enjoys the food offered. Art therapy, trivia, music, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to participate in.

Crestview Hills, Kentucky

Independent Living

For many seniors, cost of owning a home and the upkeep of the property might be a deterrent to living an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a solid alternative to this situation. You or your loved one may continue to use their free time as they wish while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and social activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private caregivers. There are a number of advantages and expenses to consider while selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in your care plan: initial assessment fee, move-in fee, wellness program, cable TV, internet access, field trips, transportation, and utilities. The benefits associated with independent living include golf course, beauty salon & barber shop, concierge services, transportation, restaurant-style dining hall, laundry service, security guards, and community activities.
