I have been a resident of Heritage Woods for 1 year. I am very pleased with the care I receive. I very much enjoy the other residents and the staff is wonderful. The food and activities are very satisfactory. We go on outings, we have entertainment come. We play games in the dining room and sometimes if our dietary manager has time she will join us.
My mother has a beautiful apartment that is spacious and includes a full kitchen and living room. This community allows overnights at her house a few nights out of the year which makes it convenient for out of town guest to make travel arrangements and come visit. She is really pleased with how close everything is to her home like her church and multiple shopping centers. They also have a great club house on campus that they hold many events and activities for there residents.
From what I can see the residents are well fed, happy, and like it here. The staff are very friendly. They make sure to take care of the little things such as tying shoes for the residents. My loved one is happy with the food being served. The staff are accommodating in making sure that the residents find something they like. The community has activities, but the family doesn't have a way to see what is offered. It would be nice to have the activities schedule on the website or Facebook for the families to see so we can encourage our loved ones to attend.
