They are very short staffed and don't think that the help (para meds) that comes in does their job entirely all the time. Seem to want to rush residents so they can get in and out. Not all of them. There good is not the best at times as I'm there quite a bit and have heard many complaints about food. Maybe because they have different cooks t times and they do there own thing instead of setting up guidelines to be followed, it always right food for right person based on there personal diets.
My mom moved to Vila Nova Place, 7 months ago. The staff at Villa Nova specifically the nurses and housekeeping staff, have made the journey easier. They have done everything to make my mom feel part of an extended family. Thank you for taking care of my mom.
The community is small, and my loved one receives more personalized attention. They have had a good Covid plan in place and have kept the residents safe. The communication is good between the staff and the family. I would recommend this community to others.
