Independent Living
My parents have been here almost a year. The staff and owner are friendly and have genuine concern for the residents. They get to know the residents, so when something is not right (mentally/physically) they know and can address it quickly. It’s never easy for a person to transition from independent living to having to have help and live by a different set of rules but the folks at Homeland work day-in and day-out to make that transition as easy as possible. We have had a few issues here and there, but when brought to the owner’s attention, they were handled quickly, professionally and to our complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend Homeland to anyone seeking assisted living for their loved ones.
Based on the experience I have had so far, the staff members working there are very helpful and surrounding. However they have some areas they could improve on so on the moment, I would maybe recommend this community to other families.
I really liked the triplex design rather than a multi-storey apartment building. I have a much larger apartment than most I looked at, with a garage. The food is also better than some I sampled. All in all, it was just a good fit for me.
