I have used Senior Helpers for a scheduled 3 hrs per visit, twice a week. We have been fortunate to have Mike after the first initial visit. He tries to engage my husband with Alzheimers of 9 years and that is not always an easy task. He is prompt, easy to talk to and seems to enjoy what he is doing.
(Activities Not Rated) We chose them because they had a couple of care givers in our area; we have found when they are not in the area and are like 25 miles away they are not very reliable or dependable. Visiting Angels was able to provide care givers that live near by so they have proven to be dependable and reliable. They are experienced care givers that are able to handle high stress situations. They are also accommodating if care givers need to be changed they do not have an issue doing it.
The first person was unqualified, young and not showing up. They did not know how to cook. We did get a local person, who is doing great. Office manager was really nice while she was there. Overall, we are happy.
