It was great.

The staff is pretty good there and I am very impressed. The unit my loved one is in is smaller and it is quiet. It is really great for her condition. We are well pleased. One of the staff members keeps me up to date on everything with what goes on with my mom. I love that and she gives me an opportunity to be involved.

I like the nursing home. It's okay.

They continue to try and be imaginative with what food they can serve him.

There have been many staff members who have been good! The meals have improved. They especially seem to enjoy how they moved the meal times. They were having dinner sometimes 6:30 pm or later and now they eat earlier. I think it fits them much better.

They have good care. One of the people in the Serenity Unit is very active in the care. It's pretty clean!

I like everything there. By far this nursing home is wonderful. My mom is doing very well with it there and we are pleased. The staff care is not terrible but you can tell a difference on the weekends. The staff are all pretty nice. It seems like they do not have enough aides and that is not all of the time but especially on the weekends. The first couple of months they kept in contact with me but not so much now. One of the nurses called me a couple of times and I was happy with that. It is clean and the meals are pretty good.

I really enjoy the staff. I really have no issues whatsoever from the time my grandmother moved in. I would absolutely recommend the facility to a friend. I really like the activities employees. They have done a nice job with my grandmother. At times the floor in the dining area can get sticky. I see them trying to clean it so I think it just might be a matter of the clientele. I would say there is a little room for improvement with the communication.

The people are friendly and take really good care of their people. I went to look at this place and we liked what we saw. The patients were up and walking around. The staff all seem to like my mom. They seem to be very caring of her. It is very clean every time I go in there. They do a good job on the meals. They all communicate well.

The staff are all good. My loved one has been at Yorktown for four years and meals has been an area of concern.

The staff is beyond excellent! The meals are flavorful and taste good. The facility is mostly clean. Occasionally there is a urine spill.

Overall, our experience is excellent! My loved one is very pleased with the food! The staff at Yorktown always calls to let me know what's going on with him.

Moving into a senior home has been different for my loved one, but she has adjusted. She seems to be doing a lot better, thanks to their rehab therapy. They do what you ask right away. My loved one is always clean and has a clean outfit on. I have no complaints about nursing care and go different times of the day. I love the place! The facility is clean. There are no odors there. She likes the food they serve her.

My loved one is getting good care and they seem to be very interested in helping her get better. The rehab therapists have tried very hard. There is one aide who was very good with her. She had a good rapport with her to gain her confidence. She was not thrilled with the dining experience. There are certain foods she did not like. It is good that she is going out to eat in the dining room. I have been contacted on occasion and they keep me informed.

Overall, our experience has been great!

He is getting excellent care there. The therapists are very encouraging. If I had to go into a facility I would want to go there and I have been to a lot of facilities. This is the best place he could possibly be. The nurses are top of the line, very nice and helpful. It is absolutely clean and you do not smell anything and no sticky floors. The staff works together really well and I applaud them for that. They care for everyone there and they are really good. They do a good job on communication.

They are doing what they can to help make her comfortable. I have no complaints. Everything looks fine to me. They kept me informed about her condition.

Most people are friendly. My husband bragged about how good the meals were. The communication was very good. If they change anything they let me know.

My loved one was treated very well and the staff took good care of her. They call me with any issues. She is doing very well there. It is a very difficult place to keep clean. The cafeteria has always been very clean, the hallways the carpets look old. Anything that goes on they call on a regular basis.

He gets pretty good service but there are times it takes a while to get help after turning the light on. I understand they have other patients but she does not understand that. They are friendly. The head nurse takes the time to talk with her. The communication is pretty good.
