If you want your loved one to experience the love and care they deserve then Wyndmoore in Marion Indiana is the best place for them to be. My sister [name removed] was there for about 3 yrs. She had a hard time adjusting because of her independence but the staff and the residents took her under their wings and she found she had a lot of people who really cared for her. They went over and above what anybody would expect and compared to her attitude when she first moved in until she passed, there was a total difference in her personality. She loved her place, her friends and the staff. The last two years of her stay were some of her BEST years. I can't thank the staff and the residents enough for what did for my sister. I'm so grateful for all of them. My sisters and I said if we ever needed a place in our last days to go to, this would be where we would want to be.... Read more

My mother lived there and received horrible care. She was given the wrong medications by nursing staff, was not fed when unable to feed herself, and it took 55 minutes for the nurses to give her morphine when she was screaming at the top of her lungs. According to the nurse, [name removed], they are understaffed” and “management doesn’t care.” My mother ended up dying a horrible death and I urge you to not walk away, but run away from this facility.

You need to stay on top of your loved ones' care to make sure the care is what you are looking for. The food was one of our main issues. It was not up to par, they had a lot of cold sandwiches with chips. I posted a complaint and it was addressed. The layout of the community was good. They have a nice outdoor courtyard.

My father in law is doing very well since his move to this community. We are happy with his move here, we know he is in a good place. They have a lovely staff, and they have been very helpful and kind. There plenty of activities available for the residents, and he is trying a few of them. He is satisfied with meals. They are having a nice holiday dinner for the residents and their families. He is safe and in good hands at this community. We are pleased, and I would recommend it.

Our mother has been here less than a month but overall I believe it is a good choice for her.

Our experience with Brookdale Marion has been a very positive one, so far! The staff here is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable! They've been incredibly welcoming to our family and especially to our loved one. It's a smaller community with about 40 residents total, and I really like the staff seem to know each resident by name. I highly recommend them!

Overall Sterling House of Marion is praiseworthy all the way around. The staff is always very kind and helpful. The only thing I can even think of where they can improve (and this is a very minor detail) is that the floor area where as soon as you walk in the door could be a tad bit cleaner. That is not a major issue though at all, and overall they are doing an excellent job and it has been a great experience.

Nice Facility. The only drawback is it is a little past our price range due to no studio apartments available. Other than that it is nice.
