It has been 2 years since my husband peacefully passed at WYNDEMERE ASSISTED LIVING, after being a resident for four years. I have chosen to submit a review of WYNDEMERE ASSISTED LIVING because, upon reflection, I must express my gratitude for the wonderful care & compassion shown to my husband and me during that time. Of course, at the heart of any care facility is the staff. I’ve had occasion to visit over the past two years. Although Care facilities normally have some staff turnover, I am so happy that familiar faces remain. I would like to give a special shout out to long time, hard working employee [name removed]…who is so multi-talented shown in her roles as Caregiver, Activity Director, and now in charge of keeping the place running as a well-oiled machine as Head of maintenance. Wyndemere Assisted Living is a gated memory care community filled with vibrant colors. The community is surrounded by lively greenery in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Residents can feel at ease knowing they’ll reside nearby multiple medical facilities.
Wyndemere Assisted Living offers on-site care and living accommodations. Residents receive on-site care provided by round-the-clock caregivers and medication assistants. All care is overseen by licensed nurses. The community offers a wide range of services, such as medication management, incontinence care, assistance with activities of daily living, and help with coordinating medical appointments. In addition to on-site care, the community has 50 apartments spread across three neighborhoods, some of which are wheelchair-accessible. Residents can choose between semi-private and private bedroom options.
Residents not only get to live on-site and receive quality care, but they also enjoy amenities and activities as well. Included in the community’s features is a restaurant-style dining room, where residents can sit and eat home-cooked meals three times a day. Socialization is also encouraged through the robust activity calendar. Daily pastimes include creative club meetings, religious services, happy hours, card games, brain games, manicures, walks, and more. management team made a decision to not accept my father back after being hospitalized. Social worker at hospital was confused and surprised as he has worsening dementia, and Wyndemere suddenly decided not to accept him back, but never contacted his POA directly. Nice workers, but clearly understaffed to do a good job of caring for your Loved One.

the people here are very nice. its very easy to find your way around for someone who has Alzheimer's. Wyndemere is a very easy going and nice community.

The staff was very caring and seemed to enjoy their work. Since this is for moderate/severe dementia residents it takes a special type of person to care for these individuals. It was very clean and the residents were cared for with the upmost compassion. Owner was very honest when I stated that my mom was beginner/moderately affected by dementia that she would probably not be a good fit for this home. He stated he would hate for someone to move in and then have to move again.

This is a wonderful community for my mom. the staff is excellent and always attends to my moms needs. The food menu is outstanding on everything they serve. Her room is clean and the grounds are always taken care of. A variety of activites to help her keep active. We highly recommend this to others seeking great care for a loved one.
