Woodland Towers

I would say it's a great place .. actually the best place for senior living. [name removed] always went above and beyond for the residents. Amazing woman.

Only the best in every way. Regretfully I left Woodland Towers months ago, only to be near my son and his family. My present situation is much less than what I enjoyed at WT-twice the square footage, a screened-in porch the entire width of my one bedroom apartment, a kitchen with all new full size appliances, a heated swimming pool, an incredible staff - caring and attentive, I have only the highest praise for every aspect of my care.

Comparison showed me that this was the best bang for the buck in DeLand. Our experience has been excellent. I would definitely recommend!

We have had nothing but good to say about this community. Whenever Mom has needed "anything" they are right there, whether it's a maintenance, housekeeping help, questions.. all there soo available to her anytime. Always clean, well decorated, no odor in halls.The only thing I'd say is the food is "fair", w the exception of their special dinners or meals for various holidays, which seem to be very nice!We chose this community over others for a few reasons: proximity to where my Dad is, price & size for the apartments, taking a small pet, walk out apartments on ground floor and is always lively & residents all had good things to say, & everyone was always soo friendly.

Need help for my mother in law she keeps on getting in her son marriage talking about his wife to others She needs this because she says that het son needs a women in life. She hates her daughter in-law because she is Jehovah witnesses

Generally, it's been a positive experience. There is a heated pool for water aerobics commencing in April. We have had, many gatherings for bingo, card games, Happy Hour, book club, Veterans meetings, wellness meetings, Yoga, beach ball exercise, religious services, crafting classes, and interactive constructive criticism meetings.

I moved my 92 yr old mother here 3 months ago from a not so great place. The experience here has been exceptional. The staff are nice and helpful. The food is good. Service in dining room is very good. The facility is clean and very well maintained. Her apartment is big and nice. Housekeeper comes every week and does a great job. They have a system to know that residents are accounted for. Lots of activities. A very nice and friendly activity director. maintenance comes right away if needed. A beautiful pool and hot tub. A very professional and helpful director. All in all my mother and I have been very pleased!!

The staff members are so friendly if we could give them 6 out of 5 stars we would as well as the activities. We just recently went to their family Christmas celebration and it was outstanding. They have a calendar full of different activities - there is arts and crafts, bingo, social gatherings, holiday parties and coming up they have an ugly Christmas sweater party. We do think the meals and dining service is good and as well as the overall value. Based on our experience so far with Woodland Towers we would recommend them to other families.

Woodland Towers is a nice community with friendly people. There's always someone who complains, but I love my apartment - I rate it more than a 5/5. Its a good size with a nice layout.

I would recommend you check the community to see if it is a good fit for your loved one. They have great choices of apartments available. The value for the money here is one of the better options compared to other communities. There is medical staff on site, plus they have physical therapy on site for the residents to use. The community offers lots of activities for the residents to choose from. There are three meals a day provided for the resident and the community provides choices for the residents to choose from for entrees.

When our loved one first moved in the meals were around 2 stars out of 5, but now she says the meals and even the dining service is getting better. They have a lot of activities going on, since she has been there she has been super active. They have exercise classes, various board games, coin games, and chair volleyball. She is very happy there and it is well worth the value

We chose Woodland Towers for one main reason and that is because they have big kitchens in the apartments. She ended up leaving the facility due to needing more care, but through the process the nursing staff was really good. I would recommend to others looking.

Too big, too old. Guide provided floor plan only, no pricing for assisted living levels of care. Felt hurried through tour.

Really liked this place, much more affordable and the rooms were much bigger.

Beautiful, large rooms. Residents can leave at Will, no alarms. Multi level so needs to be able to navigate elevators and floor change. Too large for our needs and still out of budget. Very nice facility just not for our needs.

Woodland Towers was the perfect fit for Mom. Like many of our parents, Mom is on a very tight budget and Woodland Towers was one of the few senior facilities that covered all her requirements. Mom is happy there which means we're happy.

I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone interested in top of the line care for there loved one. My father has recently made the move into this place and I have to say I am very impressed to see how well things are going for him. He has been enjoying the dinning experience and has started to participate in a few of the activities they have available. Overall we could not picked a better living situation for him then this place.

Since moving my dad and his wife into the community the beginning has been going good. The meals are good, the activities are enjoyable, and the staff have been nice. I get updated often and the staff are very good at calling me when anything wrong goes on. They are taking good care of their room and nothing has been lost. I would recommend the community based on our experience.

Very nice facility. Much like Grand Villa. Again costs are about the same.
