They act nice but they were caught in lies. My mother begged to be taken out of here. She was unnecessarily drugged up. Once moved to another facility she was only given Tylenol. She also had a bed sore from being neglected. No one should get a bed sore in less than two weeks time. They also wouldn’t connect her phone so we couldn’t speak to her. They also dragged their feet for 6 days finding excuse after excuse as to why she wasn’t moved yet. I talked to other facility she was being moved to and they said they would have taken her immediately. She is happy at her new facility. You can get the best reviews at Medicare.gov

Wouldn’t connect a phone line so we could talk to my mom after her surgery. Took 6 days to get her transferred to another facility and was lied to several times. Was never informed she had a bed sore in the 12 days she was there. Had to be informed by the facility she was transferred to. I would not recommend this place to anyone

My loved one is progressing there as far as his therapy goes and everyone treated him really well. They were very friendly. My daughter recommended the facility.

The floor my mom was on was renovated and is excellent! They were short-staffed.

My loved one liked it there. He would like to be there permanently. He liked the staff and he liked playing all of the games.

I am very happy. The girls that work on the floor are wonderful. Her therapist is very nice. My mom can be a little bullheaded but they are working with her, which I appreciate. She can be a handful, I am not going to lie!

Everything went well for us while my loved one was at Windber Woods. There isn't really anything we could mention that they can improve.

It was what we needed at the time and my loved one slept a lot. They got him up to go to the therapy.

The stay has started off fairly well. My husband has just started his rehab therapy services. The only thing is, I'm not sure I think it is sometimes other patients and sometimes staff members but it can get noisy at times. I am not here at night but it is something I notice that will happen randomly during the day.

They are working with my loved one well and she is doing the best she can. They bathe her every day and keep her clean.

They care. They have good food. The nurses and the aides are excellent, honest to god, they care. For example, this gentleman came in yesterday and asked: "does your dad get cold?" He came in with this super-soft blanket and really made my dad's bed cozy for him.

I am very pleased with the stay at Windber Woods. So far the physical therapy is good. I like the program my loved one is on. When she is there they treat her really well. I am happy with the care. The only thing I could mention is that I could not understand why my aunt, while here for rehabilitation, resides with the skilled nursing patients. She functions well and I seem to notice a decline in her when she is around the long term care patients.

There are a few things that are wrong with it. Their food isn't very good and they are short on nursing staff.

We are really happy with his rehabilitation and therapy my loved one is getting. He is moving better and we are very happy. Everybody is nice. The nurses were great with my brother. I have not gotten any updates that I know of.
