I have spent the last 90 days of my life at Willow Springs and the experience has been excellent. First the basics it’s clean, it’s mostly quiet, it’s comfortable and the facilities seem to be very well maintained. The food has been very good and very good variety. The kitchen and [name removed] seems to go out of their way to keep you happy. Now the most important part, the people. My aids are amazing, [names removed] took excellent care of me and made my stay exceptional. As I am preparing to leave tomorrow I would like to say that I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing their services. [name removed], the administrator, was always attentive to my needs and reacted expediently to anything I needed or for that or for that matter wanted. It might be interesting to note that this was not my first choice when I knew I was going to a rehab but I can tell you this if I need a rehab in the future this will be number one on my list. I would like to name everyone that was involved in my care and therapy but I will instead say Thank You all for making a difficult time extremely comfortable.... Read more

My father is a PT there, we are trying to get him home ASAP. The majority of the aids have minimal compassion if any. There are a few that are top notch. We the family talked with the administration about concerns and the last time [name removed] left to get the head administrator and never returned. I texted here and received no response back... This place may have been good at some point but it is not a safe play now! I am a Nurse and Nursing Supervisor at a local hospital, the care and lack of concern for the Admin is unacceptable and would never be tolerated by myself or the hospital I work at.

We recently had a visit with my Uncle, who sadly will not be with us much longer and was repulsed by the lack of compassion from the aides. He was calling out for a drink, at the nurses station two aides had their faces buried in their cell phones. When I had asked for a juice for him, one particular aide complained "he pushes the button for a drink too much so we ignore it, he's gonna have to wait". We left for a bit & upon returning found his door completely closed ! He is a fall risk ! He was slumped on a plastic mattress with just a sheet covering his bare body. There was trash on the floor, an obviously used urine bottle next to his head & the lunch tray still in the room at 4pm. This man is someone's husband, father, brother, uncle. This man came to this country, fought for this country, survived the attack on 9/11 and THIS is how he will spend his final days. I understand it is an exhausting field to work in as I've done it myself but compassion must be a priority.

The horrible odor of the memory care unit hits you as soon as you walk through the door. The bathroom was filthy and disgusting with dried feces on the grab bar! The blinds in the room were broken and could not be opened, so he could not even see outside. There were patients screaming in the hallway throughout the day and no effort was made to calm them or to tend to them. My father was attacked one morning by a man who wandered into his room and pounded on the back of his hand, leaving 3 jagged tears in his skin (about 2 inches long each) and the nurse tried to tell us he hit his hand on the bedside table (which had rounded edges and nothing that could have cut his hand like that). When my mother asked that my father's sheets be changed because there was blood on them, the sheets were removed at 11am and still not replaced by the time I visited my father at 4pm. He had been laying on a plastic mattress pad with a disgusting cracked plastic pillow all day.

I would rate Willow Springs an absolute five out of five! This is my loved one's second visit here. The care that she gets is excellent. They have activities upstairs for them and they have entertainment. The food is excellent, and everything is so clean, which is very important. The dining room is well lit and they have nice tables. They have a serving station there, so the food is always hot and fresh! As a matter of fact, I went in there today and they had better mac and cheese than I could make! I would not say anything bad about this place.

Our overall experience has been great and everything is good. They even had a New Year’s Eve party with a DJ and people danced. It is very positive there! This place is great and I love it.

I think it's well-run, given some of the limitations it has, I am speaking from a hospice point of few. It's different because my mother requires a lot of care and observation. The administration has been wonderful. Admissions was great, they made it a very easy-going process.

Most of the people are good and the therapists are excellent. The rehab was really good and they helped my loved one out. She was one was in pain for three or four days and the nursing staff did not give her anything for her pain at first. The food and coffee are not good.

I would highly recommend them. They cleaned my wife and got her comfortable. She had a good night's sleep and I would take my wife there again without hesitation.
