Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center

My father was able to live on his own in his own home for 97+ years and five weeks ago was suddenly taken ill and needed to be placed permanently in long-term residency. We started on the rehabilitation floor and quickly and gently and respectfully moved up to the permanent residence on the third floor. To say the transition was perfect is an understatement everyone and everything went smoothly and kindly for a man of his age with great respect and dignity. The facility is absolutely wonderfully run with a staff that really cares about their patients and value and love their jobs. I highly highly recommend this facility , my heart is full, My mind is peaceful and my dad is happy. Thank you to everyone there.

The staff makes the difference in this facility! From patient care to case management and coordination with other agencies, our family felt that we were in good hands everyday. Special shoutout to [name removed], who helped arrange a smooth transition to rehabilitating care.

Whitney Rehab so far has been clean, patient, and very attentive during my stay regarding the people who are assisting me. There is no possible way to fix something that is already perfect. Amazing job!

Everyone was skilled and caring when we arrived here at Whitney Rehab- we made the right choice for rehab! Safety was the foremost concern. Thank you to whoever recommended it to us- we'll be sure to pass it along!

All in all, it has been good. The general facility is clean and has been welcoming during my stay. Everyone has been very friendly, and incredibly informative when I have any questions and always ready to help.

I have never seen an administrator go so far and beyond what is expected of an administrator, never hesitant to lend a hand in any department. The total commitment to the staff and residents are unparalleled!

The Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center stay went above and beyond. The Nursing Supervisor and the Receptionist were treating in assisting me.

My mother been at Whitney Rehab for over 3 years and nothing perfect but they are as close as you can get. [Name removed], the administer is a great man. He isn't afraid to fill in and do what he has to do to keep Whitney Manor running smooth.

The nurses were superior and the physical therapy at Whitney Rehab was great! [Name removed] and [name removed] were the best! The flowers and arrangements were absolutely beautiful and I loved the courtyard. I have to say, I was very pleased during my stay.

The care was excellent! The staff was attentive and responded quickly. From the beginning to end, the communication was great! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I can say nothing but good things about them. They have been wonderful throughout this whole COVID experience, and they have provided us with all the protection that we have needed and that has been required by the State of Connecticut. The residents in the facility are wonderful. The staff is friendly and courteous, and very attentive to all of the residents.

My wife fell and fractured her pelvis. I knew nothing about the pros and cons of nursing homes but quickly called a family friend. She advised Whitney Rehab, and fortunately we were able to find a room there. Everyone- nurses,therapists, custodians, desk clerks, food service workers -EVERYONE we met while my wide was there was friendly, courteous and devoted to her recovery. They bent over backwards to accommodate her every need.

I had a good stay and I will return. This is my 2nd time here and both times were good. The food was good. The administrator was good and so was social services.
