Whitlock Place

It has been a great fit for my mom. She has thrived while she has been there. We've only had a few minor issues over the past year that were quickly resolved.

The experience has been wonderful. We picked this community because it was close to home. I would recommend to others.

My mother actually picked Whitlock because she liked the feel of it. We liked it because it seemed more homey and well run by the staff. They also appeared to be friendly and they interacted so well with the residents. It just felt like it was a good place. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. It's the best thing we could have done for my mom and she is happy there.

My loved one really likes the meals at this community. We are very satisfied and my loved one is happy there and that was the main thing. The staff are great and we know that he is well taken care of. The more he is there the more he is getting active.

I've had the pleasure of working with the staff and residents at Whitlock Place, and the care is extraordinary. [name removed] and the staff treat the residents like family. It is a true testament to the care they provide. The campus is clean and inviting, and truly has a community feel.

Admininistration and staff has done a wonderful job protecting its' residents during this pandemic. Aside from a few cases, covid has been non existent at Whitlock. Even though it was a difficult situation for the residents loved ones not being able to visit as before, I am sure it was much worse for the residents. Nonetheless, thank you so much for taking care of the residents.

This is a place where staff makes you feel like family and the atmosphere feels like home. The community fosters independence yet help is nearby if it is needed. Anyone looking for assisted living should look here!

Staff are caring...my first priority.

Staff are very caring which is my priority concern.

The staff has made me comfortable with placing my stepdad there. He has more of a social life then when he lived alone. The place is always clean, staff friendly and they always keep me informed. They did exceptionally well handling the COVID crisis. I know I chose the best place for him that helps with my guilt of always saying I would never place a relative in LTC. It’s not about me , it’s what is best for him. Thank you Whitlock for being who you are.

The staff has been the best about keeping the residents safe and families informed during the pandemic. A very caring atmosphere. The food is not always the best and reliable transportation can be an issue.

Whitlock place has been a godsend for my mom. Her apartment has all her stuff in it to make it feel like home and everyone really worked so hard to keep everyone safe and loved ones updated during the pandemic. [name removed] went above and beyond to accommodate my mom and knows exactly what each resident needs. Chad helped hook my moms Alexa up so we could still see each other when we weren’t allowed in the building, also a shout out to Aspen my mom can be a pill and she just has a way with her and will always scratch her back for her. I can’t say enough everyone goes the extra mile.

We are all quite pleased with Whitlock Place. The staff are all friendly and caring. Services are great and staff go the extra mile. The apartment is very nice, any repairs needed are made quickly. The apartment has its own thermostat and the bathroom has its own heater. Mom has made many friends and they enjoy dining together and visiting each other. Although Mom doesn’t a participate in many activities, there are many to choose from and are well attended by others. We installed a WiFi booster to get better reception. TV has Comcast which works very well and has lots of channels. WiFi and Comcast are included in fees which is very nice. The building is well kept and clean

The staff is wonderful! I mainly come in the evening and the second shift girls are so caring and such hard workers. These employees ease my mind knowing my loved one is in good hand!

We toured this community. We like the staff who helped and the community seems organized. The menu was nice and the activities would have been helpful for her. We wanted a smaller community, but this is a nice community and we would recommend other families to tour the community for the good care and value that is offered.

The tour was very good at this community. It seemed very good but they thought it would not be as good of place for my mom's needs.

Everyone especially Tiffany the director worked very hard to find a way for my parents to be able to move to Whitlock. They have been very patient during this transition time.

Things seem to be going really well. Dad seems to be happy and like it there. They seem to be taking good care of him. It is pretty expensive, but I think it is worth it. Everyone I have dealt with out there has been very nice.

I placed my dad in the Whitlock Place after living with us for 5 years. On a whole the experience has been very positive for both dad and myself. The employees are very caring and have been great with dads needs. His Parkinson's is still progressing but I see a better quality of life for him in this more protected environment. The facility is bright clean and a very safe, positive environment. The high cost is the only negative but that USA elder care.

The executive director is very accommodating. The community relations director is very knowledgeable and the staff is always willing to help residents and their families. The menu and how the food is prepared could use some attention. I visited all other facilities, Whitlock is the place for a loved one!
