Mom is really happy here! I've heard her remark to friends that it is the "best move she ever made". This is a very nice looking place, it's always clean and well kept looking, and the staff are all very friendly. That being said, I do think they could use a little improvement when it comes to activities. I'd like to see a few more group activities done, and it would be nice if they could get a few pieces of exercise equipment. I'd also like to see them add some covered parking, to make sure the residents cars stay accessible and clean if the weather gets bad.... Read more

I just visited a cousin, and it was an incredibly great place—wonderful vibe, homely common spaces, lovely well-appointed apartments, and a really good setting. I'll look into it more as a possible alternative for my father, who is now staying at [name removed]

The new management of this place has made it worse. On site manager is haughty and unfriendly and maintenance person is physically unable to do his job. My mother needs to go to a place where she can get transportation, as there is none here, and they said they will hold her to her lease, she will need to continue to pay for 8 more months if she leaves. Do yourself a favor, don't live here unless you are on the younger side and are able to come and go as you please and have no need for evening meals, transportation or activities, because you won't get any of those here. Very disappointed in White Rock Senior Living.

this is my 1st experience living in a senior community, and I find it almost depressing. If you aren't old going in you will be coming out. It's as if folks just get in the apartments, close the door and exist. Activities appear to be left to the other occupants. While some folks are friendly many just aren't. What would be helpful would be activities such as something hands on, knitting classes, small woodworking shop, book club, flower or veggie garden....inside....some sort of continuing education. We may be old and a little slower, but we're still alive and have value.

This has been a nice place so far, and Mom seems to be enjoying it. The office staff have been easy to work with, and they have quite a few on-site amenities. Mom enjoys the social aspects a lot, it is a nice change from living alone in a home.

Director was outstanding to work with. Lovely spaces in the condo type units. People don't usually eat at the dining hall; they only serve 6 dinners a week, no lunches. Condo gorgeous! three floors of excellence. Quality everywhere. No pool or amenities. Colors in the apartment units bright and cheery, bead board and white and yellows. Central mailbox station nice. Seating areas comfortable. Best choice so far relative to space and layout.
