You will not find a good response about this place from me. Let's start with this. I liked the cleanliness and the cafeteria and the promise that they keep an eye out for your parent. This was not the car however and the quality fell fast. In Addition ,they directed her post fall rehab to their facility twice which was too far and exceeded her medical coverage. This done even when I said no.

I pay extra for comfort keeper to come assist for daily activities with my mom. I also being charged for medication administration, that's an extra [fee removed] a month and they don't have staff to administer her insulin so I go everyday to give her insulin. I have found her morning medication at the bedside several times and have expressed my concerns about this to the staff.

I was surprised to find that even those with a title of "director" of such and such are paid hourly, and not so well as I understand. Maybe because of that personnel turn-over at the "directors" level seem to be rather frequent, especially at the kitchen. The current chef is the third or fourth since my husband came there at the end of [fee removed] . The quality of meals seem to have declined recently. But the front-line employees seem to be all very kind and pleasant as far as we have experienced. Also, at the assisted living level, there are a lot of freedom, and we are allowed to take [name removed] to restaurant outings as we please. The fact that there are a heated indoor pool and a fully-equipped gym is very nice. Once or twice a month entertainment sessions are also great, and family members are also welcome. So, I try to accompany [name removed] to these events as often as I can. I forgot to mention that there are 300+ "active living" retirement homes, and some of the residents volunteer to conduct painting classes, sewing classes, etc

I would definitely recommend it. Other relatives of ours have moved there. My mother in law wanted more independence and has moved out into one of the little houses on the campus. It's still Westmont. Now she fixes her own food and drives herself to the doctor. She refuses to wear an emergency button but we can't do anything about that. What we really like the best about it is the ability for her to move into more care or less care as she requires it.

Quality of care is actually non-applicable they were in independent living. When it comes to the meals they charged for containers to take out, charged for delivery. The activities is non-applicable, they never left their room. Value for the money, they moved in. It seemed very reasonable, they were there from [date removed] until [date removed] and the rent went up almost [fee removed] during that time. Many people are moving out of Westmont Village because of that reason.

What our family likes the most about Westmont of Riverside is the friendliness of the staff and the overall cleanliness of the community. Our loved one looks forward to all the meals that are prepared and we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Since moving here we have had services reduced and fees added on in addition to rent increases above the cost of living. The latest fees being added are landscaping charges and trash pick up. The reason we moved into senior living is to reduce our overhead and stress. Instead, we are being accessed with added fees every year we live here with reduced returns. The middle management is friendly, but the ownership does not seem to care about anything except the dollar. Do not believe everything you see on their website. Hiking trails are maintained by the residents, not Westmont. Same with the Dog Park.

My loved one unfortunately passed away after a few months. We initially chose Westmont of Riverside over the other facilities that we looked at because of the value for the money as well as the nice sized rooms . The staff and residents were all very friendly.

I wish I was never referred there. Unbelievable run poorly they can't keep their administration people or their LVN. We left after 5 months. I choose a company who actually goes to the facilities before referring a facility.

The food is GREAT (Restaurant quality) Grounds and building are immaculate. Staff is great. ONLY COMPLAINT is the lack of availability of high speed internet! NO Spectrum, ATT&T, and no satellite internet allowed here. I'm using a "hot spot" for internet and TV. I go through 100MBs pretty quick. If they allowed a company with high speed internet, this place would be PERFECT!

Of course, like every place, everything at Westmont Village is not 100%. However, all in all, I still feel like this place is very good and worth what they charge. They have very good programs and a variety of activities. The grounds are beautiful and park-like and the rooms all have a beautiful view. The Desk personnel are very nice and very helpful when I call for information or to check if my packages arrived and are ready for pick up. If the packages are heavy they will have someone deliver them to my room. The Nurses are terrific. I had an emergency situation and called the clinic and then 911. I wasn't on the phone for even 5 minutes before a nurse was at my door. She stayed with me until I left for the hospital. The maintenance Department is great. They are always pleasant and do a good job and always ask if there is anything else you need. The food is good quality. The variety of food is good and the food is very tasty. Most of the servers are very good, but there are a few that need to get some extra training. Housekeeping is my only problem right now, if that gets solved I won't have any complaints or concerns. I am very unhappy with housekeeping, they leave a lot to be desired by cutting corners. For example, my shower has only been cleaned once in the last eight weeks. But I will say that, for the most part, most of the staff are willing to help whether it's their job description or not. I would recommend Westmont Village to others.

I am very pleased that I have chosen Westmont Village for my husband's care. Being a former US AIR FORCE facility, it has a heated indoor pool and fully equipped gym. It even has a small theater whey they show old movies a few times a week, and have all sort of other physical as well as mentally-stimulating activities planned. My son and I visited one other facility before we chose Westmont Village, but that one did not have any specific area where residents can do physical exercises except its main lobby area. Also, the facility allows family members and friends to participate in many of their social activities, which I really appreciate, and I try to join my husband in these activities as often as I can.

My Loved one moved there in December 2022. We moved her in August 2023. What we were promised at move in quickly went awry. Over those 8 months, there were 3 executive directors. You could NEVER speak to any of them. The staff turnover was a 24/7 revolving door, so when you tried to get ahold of any of THEM, you also never got a return call because there was someone new in the position. The dining options were horrid. Options were subpar in quality/nutrition. Every time you went to visit it was like a ghost town. No residents out of their apartments. So quiet. Our sister was miserable saying how boring it was there. No nice area to hang outside for fresh air. Only a couple of plastic chairs next to a makeshift ashtray for smokers. Lastly, they did not keep the room clean. We had to complain many times that it was like someone just walked in and waved their hand thinking that they had cleaned.

Our family is so grateful to have found Westmont Village for our dad, it is like resort style living! They have everything when it comes to activities, although he is a mental health patient, so he does not participate in a lot of things but they have church services...They have happy hour, swimming, pickleball , gym, they have exercise classes, they have water volleyball, they have snow cone hour, visit casinos ,they have music-live performances and lots of trips to restaurant and Shopping. Resort style gated assisted living community five star restaurant, serving three meals a day... daily fun and exciting activities and field trips... state of the art amenities like indoor swimming pool, gym, movie, theater, and pickle ball . Friendly staff like [name removed] and [name removed] made us feel right at home. Affordable living, considering all the accommodations and med tech staff excellent to keep up with my health dad's care.

I believe the staff and each department works hard to help new people to become established in their new surroundings. Good food, activities, cleaning, laundry, outings, a great pool, and exercise room. A very nice facility. I would recommend Westmont Village because it was a Mother putting my son in Assisted Living, which was more unusual than children putting their parents in assisted living. They helped me through this process and I appreciate their efforts.

The sales person made it sound why better than what we've experienced. The benefit was they have their own medical team and a skilled nurse facility.Find another facility. I wouldn't recommend anyone.
