She seems to really like it and what I see is the progress in her from the therapy. I will say that for the staff members that I have met they have all had a pleasant attitude and been helpful. All of them have really been friendly including the receptionist. The meals here are pretty standard for a place like this. She is not very happy with the meals. Their communication is excellent!

It's very clean and the employees I have run into have very good attitudes. I start conversations with everyone and they all seem very nice. The room is always clean. He's in a private room and it's always spotless. He is almost always satisfied with the food. He enjoys it and he gets coffee when he wants it.

My loved one loves it here. I do think that they could do a little bit better with cleaning around the beds and changing her diaper.

If you have a loved one there, you can't ignore the fact that you have a loved one. You have to visit, get involved in the care, get to know the staff, and give them information about your loved one to better help them.

Well, he is eating most of his meals. I really have not heard from the facility.

So far we are happy with my loved one's care. When we first went there I thought the cleanliness was great but then after that for the next couple of visits, I noticed some things. I do realize this was probably because a patient had just done something and it wasn't probably cleaned yet. All in all, in comparison to other facilities it is cleaner. The meals have been great! They are good portions nice and hot.

Every time I go, I have to mop the floor and wipe the beds down. The bed is dirty. The bathroom isn't that clean. The ledge on the windows has dust coming off of it. It could be better than that. They haven't been in contact with me in the two weeks my loved one has been here.

My loved one took a fall and it made me feel that she wasn't being watched as closely as she should have been. Some of the staff were really great.

My loved one did not like the meals, but she was fed. I don't feel anybody there is responsive. They don't respond to their needs. It appears to be clean.

My mom has been going through problems. She was sent to an appointment one day and they didn't have food for her that night. I really believe some of the staff are lazy.

The rehab therapy at Westgate Hills is excellent. The nursing care is horrible and most of the nursing staff is basically rude. We only encountered a couple that we thought were caring and competent. If you need both skilled nursing and therapy, avoid this place. If all you need is therapy and can tend to your own needs, this would be a good place. Don’t expect cleanliness, though. My husband’s room had mold on the floor behind his bed that we documented with a photograph.

I would highly recommend this facility. There have been a couple staff members that have really blown me away. First impressions are lasting impressions and when I went on the initial tour I was so impressed. The facility has maintained these high standards. The administrator is wonderful. He's approachable and his door is always open. He really goes above and beyond the call of duty. The cleanliness is great. This is something I noticed on the tour and it is one of the reasons we chose this facility. I'd only suggest that there should be more communication between nursing shifts, and better communication with the patient's family.

They treat their residents with dignity and respect and listen to family input and take it to heart. Therapy is good and they have new equipment. During the weekend, the nursing care was not good. Sometimes there isn't enough staff to take her to the bathroom. She liked nearly all the meals.

So far the process has gone well for us at the facility. There have not been any concerns. I have been in communication with the social worker, and she gave me her card which is great, to contact her in the future. The nurses have provided great communication as well. At times he really enjoys a meal and other times he doesn't. When he does not enjoy the meal that has been provided, the facility does not necessarily offer other options.

It's an interesting environment to live in. The meals needs to be improved. The CNAs need to be more attentive as well. The nurses need to be more attentive.

The nurses are very helpful and attentive. He is very happy here. It is very clean and they were helpful. When he first got there he was on the first floor and we did not like the first floor but the second floor is better and has no smell.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
