My husband was a resident from [date removed]. He had Alzheimer’s, was sometimes confused, anxious, scared, unaware of where he was. Regardless of his challenges, he was always treated with respect and dignity. The caregivers in Gilbert were kind and understood his circumstances and always met his needs with kindness. I was free to drop in anytime, stay as long as I could, I never encounter a cross word, the other residents I observed daily were happy and also treated well. His passing was peaceful, he was kept comfortable and it was a comfort to me to be able to be with him in such a loving environment and know the caregivers really cared for him, and were concerned for me as well. The house is always clean, no odors ever. The food was good and served on schedule. Medications were closely monitored. Medical advisers are always available. I know my husband was well cared for, his needs were met and that made my acceptance of my inability to do so lessened.... Read more

If you have an elderly family member or friend living there, please check on them and regularly. If you are looking for a loving home for your love one, this place is not the place for them. One patient was rushed to the emergency room with bed sores. Another patient was walking around with a black eye. The staff intimidate and threaten patients to keep quiet. If I could give this nursing home ZERO stars, I would!!! Wellspring in Gilbert, this message is for you... just know that God is watching you! He sees ALL!

A Place for Mom has scored Wellspring Assisted Living Homes 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
