We chose Vista Sandia because of the size of the facility and the amount of people that are there. The staff is very caring g and efficient, I have not noticed anything bad. I would recommend this facility to others.

We had a great tour experience with Vista Sandia. Another residential care home we were looking into just fit my loved ones needs better.
I would certainly recommend Vista Sandia. When my wife was there, I knew she was being made as comfortable as possible, and she was safe there. The staff were as responsive as possible to her needs. Everything in the home was neat and clean. I thought they did a darn good job with somewhat limited staff and a full house of about 10 occupants at the time, both in keeping everything clean and in looking after their patients.

Vista Sandia is a house and the residents are frequently out in the common area interacting with each other and not being isolated in their rooms. The staff talk to our loved one and try to help. They offer up a lot of services, and is being well taken care of. We are happy with how things are going so far. We would recommend this community to others.

A Place for Mom has scored Vista Sandia Assisted Living 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
