Vista Lake

A family member of mine is at this facility and i stopped by just to see them. I was so impressed at the helpfulness of the staff and how clean the facility was. Passed the white glove test for sure! But what really shocked me as it being my first time in the Director herself took time out of her busy schedule and left a meeting to personally eacort me to where my family members room was. Also showing me all the facility’s many benefits and accommodation’s. Great beyond great place! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!

I have some friends of mine visit the facility they know I'm looking for a place for my mother in Michigan first phase of dementia, the silly was very clean presentable Care staff and building was in great shape with highly recommend this to my mother in Michigan.

I show up at all different times to see my Mom. There is always someone there helping and watching. I will always recommend this facility. The staff is top notch. They also have great food. They help my Mom eat when she is having a bad day. The common areas are clean and open spaces. The activities are interesting and encouraging.

I have worked with them for a while and it’s always a good experience. Highly recommend you tour it and see if it works for your loved one. I think the location is great. [name removed] is a gem. She is pleasant and knows her stuff!

No other place that I’d trust for my loved ones! Very clean, professional, loving. The knowledgeable staff took the time to answer questions and give feedback about everything from daily routine to longer term.

Our mother moved into Vista Lakes in July 2023 after looking at several facilities in the Leesburg/Lady Lake/Villages area. This was our choice for her after initial visits due to the interviews with staff and touring the actual facilities (and advice of [name removed], community services liaison). Vista Lakes is not fancy (though they have recently completed remodeling in last weeks which have turned out lovely) but it is a clean and pleasant home-like atmosphere. Our mother is in the memory care building (which is separate from the more independent living building). As in all things in life, nothing goes perfectly smoothly, but it is how you react to issues that arise that determine your reputation. In the events that have happened with our mother, the staff of Vista Lakes has been thoroughly and competently responsive in meeting our expectations.

My Grandmother fell ill and was placed was in a bad situation with previous care givers before she came to Vista Lake. My family and I are very limited as far as care giving and finances. Vista Lake gave us an ear, sympathized with our dilemma, and worked with us regardless of the financial restictions we had. The staff went above and beyond to insure that my family did not feel powerless in regards to the safety and care of a beloved family member. My grandmother still resides at Vista Lake and loves the people that care for her.

I have been visiting vista lake for 3 years now and just love the consistency of this facility. It’s been the same faces which is important it makes it like a family. The staff is always so attentive and ready to help.

I'd tell them is affordable for what you get but it's like any place - it's not perfect.

This was all based on 2024. Staff changed did not take good care of my mother in law. The food was awful and my mother in law went down to 50 pounds rapidly. They need to hire more people who really care about the patients and it not being "just a job." They no longer encouraged her to eat or even get out of her bed. They are completely understaffed and on weekend might only have two people for both buildings. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The director [name removed] is a wonderful person and as usual the staff is a reflection of the leader. The food is great and we love that there are alternatives if you want to order something different from that days menu. The rooms are spacious. There is a garden courtyard with bird feeders. There are many activities. The residents go out to lunch or to the park occasionally. There's a medical employee on-site. The hospital is practically across the street. They bring in live music. We're very pleased with this location.

We noticed a review and decided that it was time for us to let you know how happy our mom is at your community. The doors are not propped open. The managers are always there. The executive director travels between two communities but she gives both all of her undivided attention. Every time that i have reached out to her no matter what she has always answered us. (and i am a family member that does not hold their comments back) And yes the managers do work, they work hard to make sure their residents are taken care of, so we don't mind if its a caregiver or a director taking care of our mom, because in the end she is receiving the best care. They go above and beyond. I am always here and i speak to other families and they are happy as well. If i had to move mom all over again, i would continue to come back to Vista Lake time and time again without any hesitation. So before you make a decision on negative reviews always remember that the positives always outweigh the negative

From executive director and al her staff are off the charts a main, the care is beyond exceptional and they show so much love and affection to the residents. We are so happy we left our loved one in the hands of vista lake.

My aunt loves the location near friends & doctor offices. But it is an older building that needs brighter decor & carpeting throughout. The location was the main selling point. Their manager is very nice too.

Before passing on, Dad spent his last four months at Vista Lakes. He was very pleased with his experience there as the staff were very attentive and kind to him and at times even family like giving him extra attention beyond the call of duty listening to his stories and making him laugh. He was more than pleased.

Beautiful buildings and grounds. Caring staff. The maintenance staff is outstanding keeping buildings and grounds immaculate. Resident care staff is fabulous at caring for the residents. The director is very compassionate, understanding, smart lady.

Loved this place as soon as we walked in the door! It has a warm home feeling about it. The residents were busy with activities and were laughing and enjoying themselves. The staff was friendly and answered all the questions that we asked them about. I would highly recommend Vista Lake assisted living and memory care for your loved one. When my mom is ready to move in this is where she will be staying.

Visiting a freind was a nice comfy feeling there, very feeling of a home like feeling. I would recommend these community to other people. The building look well maintained, carpet clean and smelled really nice. The building was recently redone with new paint, lighten and decor.
