My mother lives here and this place is terrible. We are looking to relocate her soon. Front doors do not have ADA access as they are broke. Over 100 apartments have been flooded and residents are living with electrical live wires uncovered in units. I seen water in a light in the ceiling of one unit. This is terrible living conditions for the elderly. Everytime medicare increases income, they raise the rent. It's up over [amount removed] in the past 4 years. Staff is very unattentive. The tenants work together to take care of each other. If a fire were to occur there, they would loose many tenants. I fear for the tenants safety here.

This place has just undergone a renovation, and I think it looks worse now than when it started. Imagine months and months of months of having your life disrupted by noise, dust, and tools left laying around...and the end result is horrific. The carpeting doesn't match, was laid down wrong, and is a hideous mis-match of many weird colors. Now they've added hall furniture that clashes even further with the rug (which clashes with itself), a couple of sad benches in the lobby, and cheap pictures that most pizza shops would scorn. Honestly, so much time and so much money and this place looks horrible inside. And they'll probably raise our rent to cover the expenditure.

Appointment was made and confirmed for Saturday. However they are closed on Saturday. And so nobody was there.

We're very pleased with how things have gone at the Vintage. It's a very nice looking community, and the staff have all been very friendly. They really take the time to speak with their residents and get their input on how to make The Vintage a great place.

This is probably what I'll settle on. I haven't found any other facility with the same options in my price range.

A Place for Mom has scored Vintage at Vancouver 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
