A Place for Mom has scored Vintage at Tacoma with 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score based on 1 review in the last 2 years. Over all time, Vintage at Tacoma has 3 reviews with an average "overall experience" of 1.3 out of 5.
I've been here 10 yrs. and the response to maintenance and other problems is almost nonexistent. I have waited as long as 3-4 mos. for a toilet repair and light bulb replacements. The turnover of the staff here has been a revolving door. Mgmt. can't keep mgrs. or maintenance people. The office is only open 3 days a week, and even on open days, they are not there half the time. Yet, they continue to raise the rent as service gets worse. Rents in Tacoma in decent areas are totally out of reach for the average retired person. But I would not recommend this complex.

Advertised as pet friendly, but not so if you have a dog because there is now no where to walk your dog on the grounds. When we first moved in there were three designated pet areas. Now there are none. A couple of months ago, all residents received a letter telling us that our pets could no longer use the grounds at all. We are told to take our dogs across the street to other people's property or down the street to other people's property. That is just not right. So it is no longer a pet friendly community for dogs.

A Place for Mom has scored Vintage at Tacoma 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
