What an amazing hidden gem I discovered; Vineyard Ranch at Temecula is certainly one of the best know secrets I came upon. I was given a list of local Assisting Living & memory care facilities by [name removed] (Senior Living Counselor) with “A place for Mom”. Upon visiting several facilities in my search to leave my loving mother for respite stay, I finally came across Vineyard Ranch. My initial contact was [name removed](Community Relations Director) who was instrumental in providing a full tour of the facility and meeting so many friendly staff members throughout. [name removed] listened to all my concerns and addressed each one, giving me a sense of relief. First impressions gave me a sense of comfort knowing that my mother would be well taken care of by the entire staff as though she was a family member. The facility is well taken care of and extremely clean. I left my mother for a respite stay in the month of May 2023 and she loved her stay there.... Read more

Well maintained facility. The outdoor lounging areas could benefit from upgrading. Management could improve its communication to residents. Currently, communication is ok but often the larger concerns aren't given consideration. For example issues having to do with long term such as remodeling, plans about future activities such as celebration of established national holidays, group travel, speakers events, educational events, cooking, gardening.

September 29, 2024Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Unfortunately, we do not have a specific date for completion of remodeling or upgrades in progress since we cannot manage the entire process, however our executive director would love to meet with you one-on-one to answer any other questions you may have. We also invite you to attend the resident council meetings for more insights and to share anything you think would be helpful.

Response from Vineyard Ranch at Temecula
July 17, 2023Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We know we have "gems" on our team and it means so much to hear from our resident family members.
I had a couple days to fly in from out of state to find a place for my Dad and move him in when he was released from rehab. I visited 5 locations and found Vineyard Ranch worked for us. The staff was friendly ([name removed] and [name removed] were my main contacts and they were fabulous), knowledgeable and went out of their way to meet my strict timeline. My Dad said they are treating him great, the food is good and he is happy to be at the Vineyard Ranch.

Response from Vineyard Ranch at Temecula
July 17, 2023Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are always here for you and your loved one!
Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was an excellent tour everything was very nice but ultimately it came down to location and it was just to far away
From day one, the staff was very friendly. They go above and beyond. I am very happy here.

This community was our second choice but we just didn't get the homey feeling we wanted and were looking for. [name removed] who gave us the tour was super nice and she was able to answer any questions that I had.
We are very pleased with Vineyard. We picked this community because, it was close to our house and there is no requirement for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Vineyard Ranch is really spaced out, they have a nice lobby with a fireplace. Our loved one likes the meals but sometimes says they are a little under seasoned - however we do understand they do that for the other residents dietary restrictions. She seems to be having a great time with all the activities and is being well entertained. She especially likes this horse racing game that involves putting a quarter down and rolling dice. Everyone gets a turn so its very fun. They have different creative gave which is great. Personally we think the value is good - you get room and board, activities, someone to come and clean your room and assist with laundry. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to others

Vineyard Ranch has a great location that is next to a mall that has grocery store, nail salon, and more. This makes it convenient for residents to visit and take advantage of. The food is good, with a daily special. They have a standard menu for the residents to order off of. They have inhouse physical and occupational therapists for the residents to take advantage of. They do have activities for the residents to choose from.

The person that was supposed to give us a tour was giving someone else a tour, we waited an hour and the person did not come back. This was not the best experience for us and we left after this happened.
We had a good tour experience and the facility was very nice, it was just too expensive for us.
One thing that stood out to me on the tour was, [name removed], the administrator. [name removed]asked about my loved one first before letting us know about the community. Overall the staff are attentive. The grounds are beautiful. My entire family appreciates everything they offer and how beautiful the community is and enjoy the company. The food is excellent. I'm able to have lunch with my loved one, and sit off of the dining room. Some of the activities include welcome party for the new residents monthly, weekly happy hour in the piano lounge, monthly celebrations, visiting pet therapy, Catholic and Christian services, and more for the residents to choose from.

Nice community during the tour.
My mom has been in the assisted living side of Vineyard Ranch for 2 1/2 years upon diagnosis of early Alzheimer's. We have been very pleased with the care here and most importantly, my mom is very happy. The director {name removed} who took over during covid has been terrific at keeping us up to date on things. The rest of the staff is also very responsive to any questions we may have. Moving my mom have was a great decision.

A Place for Mom has scored Vineyard Ranch at Temecula 9.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
