Ventana Winds

PERFECT! NO SUCH PLACE CAN BE FOUND. For near perfect, this is where you come. This has been my home for the past 6 1/2 years and hope it will be possible for me to remain here for the few years I have left. Food is so good. Our chef is concerned with diet needs. I enjoy sitting on my own private porch with all my plants and hummingbirds. I sew a lot and the master bedroom provides plenty of room for all my supplies. Most of the employees call me Mom or Mother. It shows the respect of age plus the love they have for the residents. We could not ask for a better staff. They are concerned with each of us and our safety. There isn't enough room to express all the praise I feel for having the privilege of living here. You should experience it.

I toured 3 or 4 different places and this was the best one I found. I have lived here for 17 years and I love it here! I have a nice, spacious apartment. The food is good. It is a beautiful place to live.

Ventana Winds is a wonderful place to live. My grandpa recently moved into this community and he really likes it there. He has made a lot of friends and really enjoys the interaction he has with the staff. Gramps said the food is wonderful and said there are a lot of activities.

This is a hidden gem. My nana lives here and loves it. They keep everyone very busy and I can tell they like their residents to be social. Staff is wonderful and very caring. The grounds are kept very beautiful. The maintenance men are great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend Ventana Winds to anyone in need of an awesome place for themselves or a loved one.

Beautiful apartments! Very spacious and the staff is always very welcoming. They take excellent care of my dad. Bonus it smells great, not that normal icky smell.

Location is not of interest for us. Very nice apartment but too far.

Very loving staff! I have a loved one at Ventana Winds and visit often. These are beautiful apartments that are very spacious. Staff is wonderful especially the Executive Director and the Nurse of this lovely community. This feels like home and my family member absolutely enjoys everything and everyone at Ventana Winds. If you're looking for home cooked meals, excellent care and loving staff, look no further Ventana Winds is the place to be.

This place is very nice and the staff in all departments are great. I go and visit a friend that lives there and they just love it. The apartments are a very nice size with a balcony. There is a med tech on duty along with caregivers 24/7. I have meet the nurse and you can tell that she really cares about the residents that are there. The laundry is done for them along with the linens. They get three meals a day.

This Assisted Living community is a warm and caring environment for your loved one. The nurse is the one of the hardest working people you will ever know. The grounds are lovely and all of the apartments have cute patios.

I wish I could give a zero. But one star is for the kind senior people who are residents. This place is awful . May appear to look nice. What a nightmare . You will have no Luck in any form of health care. Meds will be skipped . And no response with emergency button as your loved one falls. Or mistakes as blood thinners givin before a procedure . I will be moving my family out. Things of value missing when your love one goes to lunch or is sleeping. What a disgrace.no orders will be followed from your doctor. My family member had a back procedure and they forgot to stop the aspirin as doctor ordered . Her stamps sitting on her kitchen table and valuable rings passed on from family gone. There is no reinforcement there to get rid of people of bad character. I found people not looking so happy. They were moved thinking what they were told is true. And sold on a nice apartment. We will be looking around to move. Listen up and take advice.

This place appears well groomed, you will not get the services paid for. Lazy staff tend to be obese hard for them to get around. Management will not make any choices to better the environment . [Removed] . Your loved ones will not own anything by the time you decide to remove them. Their health will go to crap. Poor food. People are pulled in by the looks of the apartment . Takes nothing more than a few months to feel the pain and pressure . Don't crush your loved ones needs for a nice looking building . Move fourth look for a nurse and staff that actually is available . I decided to go into nursing once I realized the pain we suffered with our love one.

Don't put the person you love here. You will be fooled and that's a promise . Do not let a nice apartment fool you. Please consider any other place. First month may feel lovely. Afterwards your comfort will go down . There is absolutely no assistant, meals are awful, staff is uncaring, [Removed] . Hiring people off the streets, pants aren't changed on the residents . Events are boring. Very cheap they will not spare a cent to pay workers. So turn around is awful. I've experienced more people pass away here then the nursing home I work at . Spare the fake smiles . Sorry for the bad review I was excited too. Learned the hard way

Run from this place. Keep your loved ones out. Don't be fooled by the tour and fake smiles.
