United Methodist Communities at Covenant Place offers affordable senior living housing options in Plainfield, New Jersey. The community, which opened in 1999, features 57 one-bedroom apartments to older adults with low to moderate income. Residents enjoy the short distance to shops, entertainment, restaurants, churches, parks, and public transportation options. Whether seniors choose to relax in the town’s surroundings or stay in and utilize the community’s amenities, they’ll find a range of social activities, events, and attractions to enjoy.
The community provides a social service coordinator to assist with arranging for home health services, enrolling in benefit programs, organizing social activities, and more. Additionally, residents enjoy laundry facilities on each floor, a spacious common lounge, planned social activities, on-site parking, gardens and outdoor sitting areas, and transportation services.
Along with the community’s beautifully decorated common areas, residents enjoy comfortable, senior-friendly suites with individually controlled heating and air conditioning. The community also partners with Congregate Housing Service Program (CHSP) to provide housekeeping and personal care services to residents on a sliding-scale fee basis.
