Medical care is excellent medication management almost excellent. AIDS very helpful with people that require considerable care. Cannot complain about people that will clean you if you poop yourself and you have physical problems even if you do not. However in some places if you are wheelchair bound they will roll you down to meals and back to your room. They do some but a lot people do them selves. Some people they really need it they do. The executive is excellent and care manager is hot. However place gets a four because the attitude of some aids are is not customer oriented. It might because they are overworked but you would think they want to make the customer feel welcome. They would make the you think they want you to stay not make you feel maybe like you should go to a different company.Its a business you want to make you happy not miserable. You think the aids would help each other out it’s not my job it’s hers even if you’re talking on the phone for half an hour.

Sunrise of Edison sincerely cared about the services I seeked for my love one. I visited other facilities and spoke verbally to so many I've lost count. Sunrise of Edison spoke the language of care they could provide for my mother and followed up with me as well. My mother needed more help than I could provide, mentally and medically. Letting go for the betterment of my mother to become a resident of the community was the answer to my prayers. She gets to interact with people in the community and is doing very well. The facility is clean, safe and treats my mother with dignity and respect. Now when my mom looks up to me with those eyes that melt your soul, my heart is comforted knowing she's in good hands. Thank you for your service and caring professionals at Sunrise of Edison for providing the exceptional care.

I'd say everything was pretty much a "4", but they are definitely understaffed. I think that's a widespread problem in assisted living facilities though. Other families should know there are a few different levels of care available at different fees.

This company does not care about the residents or their workers. People have worked their for years and they do not listen to their complaints of being overworked due to shortages especially in the healthcare department. Due to being over worked makes the care bad because we are so tired and angry all the time. Many of us are not happy working there and how the residents are second class citizens at the community. Resident complaints are always kept under the rug and those that can't defend themselves are shushed away.

Both our Grandmother and now our Great aunt have been/are residents. Very good experience. Visits on Sundays include many times live entertainment and accommodations to have lunch or dinner with our loved one. Special thanks to Hendride Nicolas for dinnner accommodations for a last minute visit it was very much appreciated!

My parents lived on the Assisted side a little over a year. Dad moved to Skilled Nursing after mom passed, when he needed more care. I'd rank Brighton 70-75th%. The AL side is aesthetically nicer (especially the common areas); the care was a mixed bag. Also, there are few truly handicapped rooms/bathrooms on the Assisted side. These things (unfortunately) contributed to dad's many falls. The care is better in Skilled Nursing (as one would expect), but this side is not kept as clean, and some things are in disrepair. That said, no place is perfect, and overall my sister and I are satisfied with this community. Most of the employees seem dedicated and caring, and they have become a strong support network for us. Recognizing VERY few communities will rank 80-95% in satisfaction, I WOULD recommend Brighton Gardens of Edison to others.

In November I had came across Brighton Garden’s of Edison while driving. I was in the search for a community for my husband. I was very pleased that on a Saturday I was able to walk in and was greeted nicely by the concierge and introduced to the sales team member, who was able to attend to me immediately. I immediately noticed the large group of residents who were engaged in whatever the activity was going on and that was very good to see. It shows me that the residents enjoy what the community has to offer. I really liked the overall layout of the community and really liked that it’s only 2 floors. I found that everyone was very helpful and very attentive towards the residents and visitors. I absolutely would recommend this community even though I made a decision to move further up north closer to my children. Brighton Gardens of Edison gets 5 stars from me.

My father received excellent care at Brighton Gardens of Edison. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The team made everything so easy and gave my family peace of mind during a stressful time. The community was well maintained and clean. The food was great and the dining staff was so kind not only to my dad, but to all of the residents. The caregivers, nurses and administration were professional, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend Brighton Gardens to anyone! They are top-tier when it comes to truly caring about the well-being of their residents. Me and my family picked Brighton Gardens because of the cleanliness of their facility. When we first walked in, they had all of the residents in the common area, playing bingo and interacting with each other. And one thing that stuck out was that they have employees that have been there 10-15 years. That spoke volumes to us.

We looked at other places and Brighton gardens was hands down the best. BG is always spotless and noticeably fresh smelling. The staff are the best part. They are friendly and very caring and respectful to [name removed]. He is well cared for. We are kept informed of how he's doing when we're not there. We have never even seen a meal however, [name removed]says that he is enjoying his food and has even gained some weight. There seems to be a good variety of healthy meals. I really can't answer this. He has finally begun to participate but he doesn't seem to interested in the offerings. He does get along well with the new activities director.

The community was marvelous to work with. All the staff and residents were very nice during my loved one's short stay here. The community was very clean. The nurses came and would care for my loved one such as putting my loved one's hearing aides on. The staff communication with the family was excellent, and they would call about any changes. The meals were very nice, and the community would place residents together to socialize during meals. The meals always smelled wonderful when I visited. There was always music playing, games, talking, and more as some of the activities available. The staff was always trying to engage the residents in the activities.

We had a great tour experience with Brighton Gardens of Edison. The staff were very attentive and they took us around and showed us everything and answered all of our questions that we had.
