Twin Rivers loves their residents. It only has 31 apartments, so staff are not overwhelmed. Staff are kind & helpful to the residents & their families. They keep the residents busy with many activities, exercise, social events & field trips. Staff does a great job. Like anywhere there's always room for improvements but overall a great affordable place that my Mom loves. There are three meals a day, a lot of social events with snacks & beverages. Each apartment has kitchenettes with fridge, microwave, sink & cabinets to store snacks & drinks. Breakfast is order what you want, lunch is preplanned heavy healthy meals & dinner are 2 choices of light meals.... Read more

Twin Rivers is great, and they are constantly sterilizing and so far no residents do not have any known cases of COVID. The staff is wonderful, they are very friendly and helpful. They are very attentive. It is not a very expensive community. It is Independent living so not many care services are provided but if we get sick or need anything they are there to help. 95% of the time the food is good. The rooms are nice, they offer a variety of different floor plans. It is a smaller community, so everyone knows each other.

The staff is great, the food is great, and the rooms are great. There has also been zero cases of the Covid-19 virus. The community is very clean. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and available and have been working very hard to keep us entertained while the community is on lock down. Twin Rivers is definitely a good value for the cost; one of the reasons I picked it!

I was favorably impressed with the tour, very glad I took the time to visit. Will soon bring my Mom for a visit too. I think she would feel very at home here. Lots of activity options, flexible ways to meet a variety of needs and circumstances of individual residents, outings offered to local shopping, events. Feels like home, just 30 residents, and it seems like they become like a family to one another. We took a spot on the wait list.

Visited 6/6/11. $1930 per month. Kitchenette, large sleeping and living areas. Large bathroom. Disliked smallness, no Bridge, limited meal choices, not much closet storage.

A Place for Mom has scored Twin Rivers Senior Independent Living 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
