This building needs a complete update. the apartments need to have more modern appliances, wiring checked, take out that wall between the kitchen and dining area to open it up for more living space. the balcony's need scrubbed for mold and repainted. the balcony's are cement and have cracks. The halls are dark. this place has been under 3 building managers since I moved in. this last one is inattentive, I had an emergency over the weekend and after 6 calls to the maintenance company I never received a call back. I ended up having a friend who is a maintenance person at another complex fix my problem. the closet doors are sliding and NEVER stay on track. Mind you the maintenance guy can only do what is asked , but I don't think he gets half the messages

Overall disfunction, poor communication between management and residents, and the extremely dated building should be warning enough of the terrible living arrangements at Twin Pines. Personally I have experienced multiple "Maintenance Emergencies" ranging from a broken refrigerator to a large leak in the ceiling that are not finished being repaired after 8 months of back and forth with the management. What they lack in facility upkeep (of the nearly 40+ year old building) they make up for with false promises and inconvenient office hours. In addition to the units numerous health and safety concerns the parking lot is frequently crowded and [removed] Giving this complex the minimum ONE STAR rating is being generous. Had I known what I would be getting into in the beginning of this never ending nightmare, I would have postponed my moving or slept in my car till I found something even slightly better. Even putting my rent payments in Eskrow was not enough to Motivate the property managers to get things done or prevent cutting corners that ultimately cost me in the end.

The manager was very nice. She was polite, helpful and appeared godd at her job. Down side - building a little rough but not bad (I was spoiled by Valley Creek), there was also a slight smell in the hallways.
