Loving Care Available Here

They were so kind and considerate to my mom. She became ill quickly after she arrived there and they accommodated all of her needs. Her apartment was very comfortable and roomy. I just want to emphasize that the women who worked there were amazing. Including the kitchen workers - the cooks and servers were all so very kind and thoughtful. A+

My Tour Experience at Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe

This was a good community. However, they weren't able to provide accommodations for my loved one's dietary restrictions.

Warm and Accepting Place To Be

The community was very welcoming, the staff did a good job at helping people get connected. The staff was very kind, knew everyone by name. Overall this community was a good experience for my loved and I. The communication with the staff was good, they were responsive, if I asked questions or had concerns they addressed those right away.

If you're a senior citizen looking for a place to downsize, I highly recommend it.

Twin Oaks has been excellent. It is one big happy family, as opposed to a franchise chain. The apartment is adequate for our needs. It's a great place if you're looking for a change in environment or need to downsize at this stage in your life.

Wonderful Community

I am very impressed with the community. It is always clean and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The communication with the staff has been really good, if we have questions or concerns about our loved one. The meals are typically served in the dining room for the residents to socialize. There is an option for the meals to be delivered if needed. They have lots of activities for the residents. This is a family owned community.

A very nice facility, friendly, would recommend

Everything we have heard from our loved ones there is that they are really enjoying the meals. Due to their health sometimes they don't feel comfortable leaving their apartment so they staff members will go hang out with them, start up conversations, and still make sure they feel included. The staff members and all the other residents have been really friendly so far. A couple things we liked about Twin Oaks is that they have assisted living and memory care, so if our loved one were to ever need more help, she can transition within the community and not have to leave and move somewhere else. Also Twin Oaks works with an outside skilled nursing company, so if your loved one is not ready for full on assisted living, you can purchase al la cart options from the outside team. They do everything from personal visits, tuck-in/tuck-out services, care giver assistance, shower help, injections by nurses, laundry help, and medication reminders, etc. They also offer customizable bundle packages.

The best decision our family ever made...

My mom has been a resident of Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe for four years and we could not be any happier! We, my five siblings and myself, have total trust and confidence in the staff at Twin Oaks on every level of care. We always say that our mom is treated like a QUEEN there! When I walk in to visit her, every single employee greets me so kindly and gives their full attention to any needs. And my mother is treated equally with so much attentiveness, friendliness, and respect. We joke with my mom about how her social life is better than all of ours, as she is always so busy with all the activities and outings that are offered at Twin Oaks. She has made many friends in the other residents, and with staff members. Her favorite activities are Java Music, Bible Study, Armchair Travel, and playing games such as Scrabble with other residents. She also enjoys watching STL Cardinal games together with other residents, as well as movies in the theater, and she never misses "Happy Hour"! She has enjoyed trips to Branson, local restaurants, Pierre Marquette, Stages Theater, and the Blue Owl Restaurant in Kimmswick just to name a few. She frequently takes the shuttle bus to church which is very convenient. She enjoys the food and loves the residents meetings that are held every month. Our extended family enjoys many holidays at Twin Oaks with "Grandma" and "Great Grandma" such as the stupendous 4th of July celebration, Fall Festival, and Christmas Open House. It has become a tradition in our family to attend these events and we all have a blast! I cannot say enough good things about Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe!

Faith and family oriented community living

The owners of Twin Oaks are generous, family-oriented persons. They care about the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the residents. And they instill these values in their staff, who are helpful, friendly and professional. The result is an environment that fosters a true sense of community living.

A Wonderful Vision

My Mom and our Family are so glad that [Name Removed] had the Vision to provide an inviting place for residents to live. My Mom moved into the first completed Garden Home in 2010. In 2011 she moved into Assisted Living. As a family we enjoy all the activities such as the Fall Festival etc. Thank you for taking Care of the One we Love.

Top Notch Community

My mother in law has been living at Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe for four years now. She came to Twin Oaks from her home and was very emotional about leaving the home where she had raised her family. The staff at Twin Oaks welcomed her and made the transition a pleasant experience. We are thrilled that she has made so many new friends. She is passionate about cooking and absolutely loved that she had a kitchen and that she could bring her dining room set with her so she could still entertain. She has become much more active and participates in many activities throughout the week. Over the years, her need for additional care was evident and she moved to the assisted living community at Twin Oaks. She is being cared for by a community of people who treat her like family and I can visit her and leave feeling at ease that she is happy and loved by so many! Thank you all!

My father loves it !!

My father loves it here. I talk to him every morning and he’ll say “I had biscuits and gravy this morning and it’s so good!” – One time while I was calling him I heard music in the background and I asked him what he was doing and he said “The have people down here line dancing and they’re going to teach me”. He just loves it there and he’s real happy. I thought he’d be upset with everything moving there from a big house, but he’s just tickled pink. He has everything he needs there, the people come in and clean every 2 weeks and he can get his haircut on site. During the first weekend in Dec. there was a family open house and it was really special. They had a Santa and a Mrs. Claus, you can take pictures with Santa, they had a pianist playing Christmas carols, and a lot of people gathered around and sang along. It was a lot of fun. They provided finger sandwiches, hors d’oeuvres, shrimp cocktails, and lots of desserts. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. They have other activities like live music and events during other holidays. I know during Fourth of July they have blown up bouncy houses for the kids, they have fireworks, and funnel cakes. The lady in charge, [Removed], always has a smile on her face and is always caring about the people; it’s really nice. We are very happy with the location and having him there. And since he’s also happy that makes us happier. I recommend this location to other people.

I toured this community

I went on a tour in this community. The staff was nice and helpful. And they answered all of my questions. It was clean and sterile. It was a newer building. We never saw any nurses not even at the nurse's station. Also saw no aides either it felt cold in there.

They really cared about my Father

This facility was everything I had hoped for and it was a very good experience. My Father and I chose this facility because I would be close to him and the great value of care for the price. It’s a great place and a wonderful staff. They really made it easy as far as the transition. The staff members took good care of him and made sure he got to all of his meals. I could tell they treated my dad like he was a person and not just going through the motions. I would recommend this facility.
