I was living alone and finding activities to participate in and people to do it with was a chore therefore I did little outside of family. Trinity Oaks opened a whole new way of living and enjoying and expanding my life. At first I tried to participate in every activity but there were so many I had to be selective. There are planned trips, entertainment and learning opportunities organized by helpful staff that truly care about our happiness and welfare. Recently I participated in class sessions with other residents at Catawba College that were led by students. It was a fun learning experience for us residents as well as the students with residents and students not only learning but experiencing the joy of helping each other. I have lived here over 5 years and living here is like an extended family and truly exceeds my expectations.... Read more

My life was rather chaotic when I first visited Trinity Oaks apartments. My husband had Alzheimer's disease, and I was needing help. Through a series of circumstances, he was admitted to the memory unit, a part of Trinity Oaks continuing care sections. I wanted to be near him to visit, so I committed to a 1-bedroom apartment. After he passed away, I realized that this was the place for me to stay. I had no major responsibilities, a pleasant apartment, kind and loving friends, compassionate staff members, plus 2 meals a day provided for me!! There were and are numerous activities to choose from, opportunities for trips, a library filled with books and puzzles, programs with speakers, a pool and gym, and housekeeping and maintenance service. Most of all, I think I and my children feel thankful that I am safe and have access to help if needed. There are many residents in their 90s here who look much younger. I wonder if it's because they have found a "safe landing place" too.

After considering and visiting several facilities, I chose Trinity Oaks. Although other places were nice enough and welcoming, I immediately felt a warmth and connection to Trinity after my first visit. I like that it is large enough to provide a wide variety of opportunities for fun, socialization, travel and education but intimate enough to know my neighbors and staff by name. Management had been completely transparent during Covid, keeping us informed, protected and well-fed! I love my life here at Trinity Oaks.

Beautiful campus, clean facilities, friendly staff, wonderful loving residents. Even as an employee, staff and residents all feel like family. The relationships are like no other, and I'm so grateful to get to come to work every day and be greeted with big smiles and kind words.
