Traditions Of Durham

My mother has been a resident since last year, September. Initially she was in a studio on the main floor. When her condition worsened, she was moved to the second floor, supposedly assisted living. While in their care, mother suffered a fall which put her in hospital! Unfortunately, she is still in hospital, the bruises on her leg horrendous even a month later. No explanation from Traditions seems adequate! What I find most deplorable is that NO-ONE FROM TRADITIONS has even bothered to contact us to inquire about her condition. Meanwhile you continue to accept payment! SHAME

We had my mother at Traditions for about two years and I highly recommend this wonderful place for your aging parents. [Name removed] and her amazing staff are caring and treat every resident here with love, patience and respect. Everyone here are fantastic! From the ladies at the checkin desk to the cleaning staff and the chefs/ waiters/waitresses in the dining room are exceptional. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. From the time I brought Mom to do the initial visit until her last days, I saw all of the residents were happy, pleasant and well cared for. In my Mom’s last few weeks, [name removed] assisted us in providing us with options for her care and listened to our requests for additional care and for us to spend more time with her. We never heard them say “no” to any request. These people are wonderful, beautiful people. I can’t say enough good things about them! Sincerely [Name removed]

The assigned numbered parking spots, are not properly maintained between cars. Ice, snow make walking dangerous for seniors. I parked there by mistake as it was my first visit last Friday, didn't notice a sign for drivers not to park in assigned parking spots. Walking with cane to front door, the front desk woman, waited for me to reach the front door after a long walk to tell me I had to move.my car. She seemed to be the head HEN as not comfortable with her tone. This complex is very nice but I heard some front desk staff can be RUDE. (2). There is a lack of parking as some seniors have a long walk to front entrance. Is there plans to expand parking? I don't like to complain but it is nessessay when dangerous parts of parking lot is not maintained for ALL. Some cars are not parked properly between the white lines. That's why I parked in assigned numbered parking. Is there staff to monitor parking?

Everything is working out very well. and I'am very pleased with my mothers move to this community. She has adjusted very well to it. The staff is great, they have been great to work with. It has been a very good experience, and I'am satisfied with all they have for us. This is a community I would recommend overall.

My mother is doing pretty well here at this community. They are trying their best to care for her and her needs. It is a very nice and well-kept facility. The staff have been pleasant. We have no complaints about this facility. Everything is working pretty well. I would recommend this community.
