The Willows at Victoria Falls

I have lived at the Willows for over 4 years and I love it. The building is sparkling clean. Whenever I have a question or concern, [name removed] and/or [name removed]responds immediately. I remember I had a problem with my air conditioner and [name removed] came out about 8 p.m. on the weekend and stayed until after 11 attending to the problem. They do regular pest control and checks on the smoke detectors, etc. They recently gave residents a wonderful Christmas party. Both [name removed] and [name removed] are very friendly and you can tell that they really care about us elders. I pray that the Willows @ Victoria Falls will be my forever home.

We chose The Willows because the location was closer to family, there are a lot of options for activities to do, and my mom wanted to be somewhere with a diverse population and culture and we felt this was a great fit. She likes her apartment and is happy with the size, especially compared to some others that she looked into. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Hi to all, we have been living at the Willows of Victoria Falls for five years and what a joy and blessing it has been to The Watson Family [name removed] . When we first moved in we didn't know what our life would be like because my husband has cancer and they only gave him a year to live. We moved in the Willows and our life has been a blessing and God spared my husband to still be living. I believe that living at a place that both of you adore and love can make all the difference in the world. Living here is such a nice, clean place and all of our neighbors in our building we care about one another. [name removed] and [name removed] is more than a blessing! They make the place to be as it is. When you put in a call or a request, [name removed] and K[name removed] en make sure that whatever the problem is they handle it immediately and if they can't [name removed] will definitely call you and give you an idea as to when something would be done. I love to be clean and this place is clean every day and because of how clean it is, it allows others to pick up behind themselves, otherwise trash could be everywhere. We don't have any pets, but those who do have pets, seem to take good care of them and when they take them outside. I love when our friends come to visit that they make a comment on how nice these apartments are. I pray that we will always stay safe. Being older it is imperative that we all stay safe. I feel safe here. My husband and I can't run too fast, (smile) but at least we feel we can make it into our building and even our apartment if someone was chasing us. We along with all of our neighbors listen out for one another and that truly helps us to feel better about where we are living. I have to give Praise to [name removed] and [name removed] they work together very well. If they didn't, you sure would not know it. I appreciate calling and seeing [name removed] all over the complex and if I see him in our building I can tell him, oh I will send in a few minor problems and he takes care of them right away, after he has finished another person's problem. [name removed] is just a jewel and it really means a lot to have someone working in the office that when you call you don't have to feel annoyed. You know that when you call you will receive that wonderful personality that [name removed] has and not only being nice and concerned about our problems, but she knows how to handle everything and that allows my husband and I to feel confident in knowing that whatever needs to be done will be taken care of. She is beautiful on the outside and inside and she knows how to handle herself. It is one thing to be kind and take care of everyone, but if someone is not nice and have a very nasty attitude she takes care of everything and that is the kind of people you need working in a place like this. The work that [name removed] and [name removed] take care of is amazing! The outside landscaping is simply beautiful. I know that I can talk (smile) and I sincerely apologize for the length of what I had to say, and I am so sorry that I almost missed it today. I have not been reading my e-mail lately because of our health, but I am thankful that I made it on time to say what I had to say. God Bless each of you who takes care of us! When I first visited the Willows, I was impressed with the spatial alignment of the apartments and the amenities associated with, and those contained therein. Upon moving in, I found a friendly group of tenants and a super management and maintenance staff. My son and grandson visited me shortly after I moved in and they were happy that I had found such a great place to live. My grandson couldn't wait to come back and spend the night. After being here for several years, my grand daughter finally visited me. She has not stopped using superlatives describing where her PaPa lives. She is hopeful, as she is currently looking for her own place, that she can find something similar. My statement to her is: "Good Luck, It's going to be hard finding a place like this".

My husband, [name removed] and I moved to The Willows at Victoria Falls five (5) years also. These five years have been remarkable. Although I very seldom use the Resort Center facilities it is available. I am so involved with family, church, reunions and numerous other outside commitents that I don’t have time to participate in the Center’s activities—but its always available to me. The facilities they provide, exercise, health, pool activities rooms, programs, exercise and outside events is simply a wonderful facility, especially for seniors who have limited outside friends and families. My development is beautifully maintained and consistently kept that way, along with maintaining the cleanliness of the Condo Buildings and open areas. I love walking into a building and lobby area that is refreshing and has a clean aroma. [Name removed], Management and [name removed], Maintenance are outstanding representatives of your company. All request are expeditiously resolved without question. It is simply a pleasure working with them. Their kind and excellent customer service attitude is unique and delightful. As for the up keep of my unit it is remarkable. There are always routine inspections on everything needed. I am exceptionally delighted to live here and would highly recommend to others. P.S. My Unit “Charleston “ is perfect with the den and large kitchen. Actually my visits to other Condo at other developments they just don’t compare to the size and layout of mine. We have lived at The Willows at Victoria Falls for a little over a year. We really enjoy living here. The building we live in and the community are very neat and clean. The neighbors are nice, friendly and cordial. It is a safe, quiet and peaceful place to live. We enjoy walking around the community and on the walking path. [Name removed], Community Manager, and [name removed], Maintenance, do an outstanding job. This is the perfect place to live during our active retirement years.

Sometimes I feel like I'm living in the penthouse apartment. It overlooks a small pond surrounded by beautifully maintain lawns. I am very content living at Willows at Victoria Falls But best of all we have [name removed] and [name removed] greeting us with smiles ready to tackle our problems or concerns.

I thoroughly enjoy living in the Willows at Victoria Falls. It is very peaceful. You feel as though you're living in a park. I enjoy walking the trail with my dog and just taking in the scenery. I love my apartment. I just love the layout. It is invaluable having a garage because you can walk right into the building. The staff is outstanding; very caring, professional, and attentive to your requests. I especially like the activities; swimming, crafts, movies, and other social events. I don't know what else to say, the maintenance is wonderful. The manager is superb. I never want to live anywhere else. I am relaxed and comfortable here. My apartment is accessible. I feel very blessed and safe.

[Name removed] and [name removed] have been very professional, courteous, and welcoming since we arrived in mid April. They have been attentive to our requested needs. All of our questions whether addressed to [name removed] regarding her responsibilities or to [name removed] regarding maintenance issues have been promptly addressed to our satisfaction. Our building where the Leasing Office is located is always clean. Both [name removed] and [name removed] always make time for our questions and concerns. We enjoy living here.

Two years ago when we arrived we were looking for a 55+ community that offered a lot of things to do. Victoria Falls has that for us. The way that it was advertised on the internet is exactly as it is. We were told by [name removed] that we received preventative maintenance 3-4 time a year. They make sure that our condo is cared for. Basically what I am saying is that the [name removed] are satisfied. We plan to renew 2-more years and more. We love it here. I have recommended Willows at Victoria Falls to several people looking for a nice senior place to live.

I love living in Victoria Falls community; the Willows where my husband and I have lived for almost 4 years. The property beatification and the upkeep is eye catching. I enjoy being on my balcony watching the well kept flowers/greenery. If we have any issues or concerns management has addressed the problem in a timely manner. The community has a lot of activities for everyone to enjoy. It’s a great place to live. [Name removed] & [Name removed]

We chose Willows at Victoria Falls because we wanted peace and quiet. I like that there is not a lot of traffic in the building. Most neighbors that I see are friendly. I say this because we really do not see that many. If there were any changes that may be considered is adding more parking spaces. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. My family comments when they come to visit. The Community Manager is nice and professional. Maintenance is also. Our only battle is the Redskins/Cowboys rivalry. I would recommend living. I feel safe when I am in my community. There are rules that we have to follow but the all make sense and help maintain our homes. When I turn off the lights and lock my doors I don't worry. We have been very happy with our decision to move into the Willows at Victoria Falls. Great resident services. The building and the grounds are beautifully kept. Great staff.

I’ve lived here since they first opened the doors. The Willows Condos have the best floor plan. They should build more rental condos/apartments for Active Adult living like The Willows, I’ve searched and could not find the same square footage. The maintenance is great, and cleaning is done daily. Lots of amenities too especially in the club house.

Our stay at the Willows has been very rewarding for my husband and I who had to downsize last September, we enjoy the comfort of home at the Willows. We also enjoy our lovely spacious apartment. Just think about it no more maintenance worries because the service is wonderful and quickly taken care of by one of the best ([name removed]) what ever the problem is he handles it with a smile and the job done. I can always call the office and hear the voice of [name removed], I can not see her but I can hear the smile in her very professional voice. She not only assists you, her personality shows true carrying for other individuals!! Last and most important to my husband and I, we love the quietness and security of knowing no one can enter unless we let them in!! Also the beautiful well kept grounds and the many activities available to all tenants, You really don't have to leave this development at all....just relax and enjoy the beautiful view from your own balcony.........

This is great place to live. if you are looking for a place where you can come home and don't have to worry about noise or people hanging in the lobby, this is the place to be. My husband and i have been here 2 and half years and have no intention of leaving. the most you here are the Birds chirping in the spring time. They are very good when it comes to keeping the place clean and responding to whatever your issue maybe. example (plumping). I have lived in several different complexes and out of all of them . this is the best. Last, but not least. The staff Mrs. [name removed] and Mr. [name removed] are very pleasant , Professional and attentive to whatever your needs might be. I was just asked the other day by someone as to what will i do after i retire in three years. i said stay here. I love where i live and have no intentions of leaving.

Sorry that the community center does not allow any type of religious meetings in the rented spaces. Seems like discrimination.

On our tour I saw very good things. We got answers to our question we had about the community. They were prepared for our visit too. We wanted a one level home and more smaller home. After reviewing it location it was not ideal for the entire family. It was a very good tour but it didn't meet our requirements.

This is an update - we did receive the refund of the overpayment we sent but it did not include the $500 security deposit we were required to give when we moved in. I sent a follow up email to inquire about it and have not heard back. We received a water bill for the month after we moved out and I called and was told to ignore it which I am a little worried about. I am not sure if the new owners are aware of the confusion but I would really ask some questions before moving in. There is usually some sort of paperwork sent when you move out of a property but I have not gotten anything. I am hopeful we can get this resolved.

My husband and I rented one of their condos and it was a lovely community. We moved out of state at the end of January 2016 and are still waiting for the refund of our deposit and overpayment that we made. I've been told several times it was being taken care of and a check would be mailed last week. I am still waiting with no contact.
