About the facility The Sunshine Home

The Sunshine Home is one of Torrence, California's most unique and specialized assisted living facilities. The home provides a relaxing and family-like atmosphere with the added touch of European sensibility and care. The staff at The Sunshine Home were raised in a nursing environment that was centered around the needs of seniors with personal difficulties related to mental health, dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Keep looking, a very unhappy resident

I was there for several months and was not very happy. The food was terrible. I never had enough to eat. Four days of the week you will have one bowel of cereal. Lunch's you will have a 2 slices of bologna sandwich. You have to pay for internet if you want it. You must do chores in the morning and evening. The house manager was continually yelling and screaming at the residents. If you needed to go anywhere you were on your own, They did not provide any type of transportation. There are stores close by that you will go to buy food. The main reason the house is open is money. I would NOT recommend this place. Keep looking before picking here.
