What really stood out to us right away was when we initially had our tour the staff were all interacting with the present residents. The staff were all clustered around the residents interacting with each other, talking and hugging one another. It felt very personable and family like. Our loved one eats every meal that is provided and we have been very pleased with all the different activities they offer. The staff are very attentive and friendly.... Read more

Did not follow steps with hospice medications. No call back from the executive. After leaving a message. Some staff members are very caring. The call button on the dresser was not within reach when should have been around mother's neck.

The Springs at Grand Park didn't make a good impression. The gal we met with was alright and was fairly friendly to us. But I noticed the other staff didn’t seem like they interacted with the residents very much. I saw a lot of residents just sitting around staring at the walls in the lobby. We were there during lunchtime, and the dining room was dead silent except for silverware against plates. There was no conversation or interaction.
My experience has been wonderful so far with no complaints.

This community every time we come to visit is very very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly. They are very gentle with the residents there and have a lot of patience with them. They could improve their communication between the hospice team a little bit but overall this community is very nice. We would recommend this community to others especially if your loved one is more active and can get to and from places on their own.

It's really good at The Springs. It has a small town feel to it where everybody knows everybody. From the CNAs to the nurses to upper management, there's a feeling of family. They all know everybody and are all concerned about everybody who lives there. The food is good. Recently they had a 4th of July get-together with the families, and everything was really good. They seem to keep our loved one very busy. We're more than overjoyed with them.

Response from The Springs at Grand Park
August 3, 2021Hi Paul, thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to let us know how we're doing. We will share this with the team!
We toured The Springs and it was a really nice facility and tour. It was actually our second choice and we would have gone with it if we did not have family connections with another facility.
We chose The Springs because the tour really showed me what it was like and the price was right. Mom is in a studio and it is perfect size for her needs. They have taken the covid situation very precisely and have been great with communication. I would highly recommend.

We chose The Springs at Grand Park because of several factors. One was for the location, another was when we walked in we got a good feeling, it was very homey and not institutionalized. It was also a smaller community and more focused on the residents with better 1 on 1 care. Overall, we have had a very good experience here and would recommend the facility.

[Name removed] was so nice. I was very impressed. I am concerned about the room being so small in memory care but perhaps my mom could start out in assisted living in a one bedroom apartment

Response from The Springs at Grand Park
July 21, 2019Thank you for your interest in our community! We do make an intentional effort to create smaller rooms for memory care because we encourage residents to be out and about in the community participating in group activities and dining. Through our research and in tandem with our care experts, we have found this route especially helpful to our residents' overall health and well-being. We encourage you to keep asking questions and we are here to help in any way we can, as we know each individual requires their own personal care and concern. Thank you again for stopping by.
[Name removed] was a kind and gentle tour guide and very knowledgeable about all aspects of this facility. It's a smaller community, about 44 rooms, but everyone knew everyone, which is a plus. Price was quoted for room, plus additional monthly cost for healthcare, depending on level of care. Assisted living plus memory care.

This is where [name removed] lived, they have remodeled and the apt is nice, but start up cost has doubled in 6 years. Much smaller scale with extremely friendly people.

July 21, 2019Thank you for taking the time to review your experience. It's true that costs have increased, but we do feel the value of what you get since 6 years prior has also increased, including additional amenities and stronger care teams. We are always looking to improve and value your feedback. Thank you again for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Warmly, Team Springs
When I called A Place for Mom is was out of choices and ideas. My Mother needed a little extra medical help and other places wouldn't take her. The Springs said yes 'no problem'. My mother was so down mentally and physically our family didn't think she would see Christmas this year. Since moving in to the Springs in July, my mother is thriving. She plays bingo, cards, Wii bowling, and attends most of the special events. Her mobility, mental aptitude, and social life has surged beyond anything that I ever hoped for. Thanks for finding this place for me.

Response from The Springs at Grand Park
November 19, 2018This makes us all so happy to hear. So many families share similar experiences, and we're so glad you made the move to The Springs Living for your mother. To hear that she is thriving in her new community continues to validate why we love what we do. Thank you so much for sharing your story and for being part of the Springs Living family! Have a wonderful Christmas with your mom!
When my dad got out of rehab, this was not on the hospital's recommended list of assisted living facilities. We were confused as to why that was, as when we toured the space, it seemed nice. But the service is very bad and overpriced. My dad's health has gone downhill, with bedsores, etc. The staff is overworked, and it's difficult to get a call back. Not recommended.

We like the care at this community for my mom. The menu is appealing.. We liked the atmosphere for the community. The staff are very nice and they keep me informed on her progress. The activities are offered. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one and a good value for the care.
