The food is horrible and our loved one never went to the activities so we have no idea. It is not worth the money. Hall floor carpet was filthy outside building was dirty. Hall smelled of urine all the time

We cannot rate the care services because we are in the independent living center. What we like the most about The Social at Savannah is the management and the people as a whole.

My loved ones are currently residents at The Social at Savannah and it has been very good for them. The staff made the transition great for them. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff, meals and activities are also great.

Overall it's a good place, however the dinning was there Achilles Hill. [name removed] at the front desk is very helpful and friendly, activities were great and of course, fellow residents. It's a good place, I miss all my neighbors for sure. Every place has their inherit problems. Where I'm now is closer to my kids and their children.

It was such a disappointment. So understaffed. Like everyone quit just as we were moving in. Just not enough staff and the food was totally unacceptable. Just a bad experience. It was all promised but not delivered

The residents at the Social at Savannah are so friendly. The staff are professional, welcoming, and nurturing. The facility is well maintained and the services and activities are enjoyed by my loved one.

This facility is very clean and well run. The staff is super friendly and is as helpful as they could be. Unfortunately, the food is not the best. My loved one chooses to prepare a fair amount of his meals for himself.

Improvements: New residents are literally at sea as they are left to fend for themselves. We didn't know where anything was, what abbreviations were on calendar, etc. I asked if they had ambassadors and although I finally found one she couldn't answer most of my questions. She said they all did different things! Location of different activities was a problem as abbreviated on calendar. I finally walked all 4 floors to see where they were. Some things that are mentioned in Brochure are not available. Many are resident oriented which often leads to non inclusion of new residents. Food is a big problem. Just had lunch. Dining room was crowded. Lots of new residents and no place to put them. Service was not great! 1. Poor nutrition 2. Portions are very skimpy unless it is potatoes or noodles. 3. TV IS EXTREMELY OLD. Doesn't even have guide to show what programs are on! (we weren't aware of this until we moved in. They had a list of 100 channels in brochure but didn't mention it was severely outdated!) This data should be available before signing contract. If we want to know what is on we have to buy a TV Guide. The biggest problem with us is noncompatibility with DVR and inability to get other servers that we could use because of the antiquity of the system. On the plus side it is included with rent.

Two things stood out to me at this facility: 1. Easy access to things in facility for my father. 2. Cleanliness and staff available to address any concerns or issues we had while he was there. I can not speak more highly of [name removed]. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went well while my father was there. My dad didn't participate in the activities, that's just because he chose not to. I would definitely recommend The Social to others looking for care for their love ones.

The community is very caring and friendly. There is low staffing in the community currently. If your loved one needs medical care, I wouldn't recommend the community. This would be a great community for those that are looking for social inactions and activities. It would be nice to see more dietary restriction meal options for the residents. There are three meals a day and choices are varied for the residents. Movies, bingo, trivia, outings and more are some of the activities available for the residents to participate in.

I visited over the holidays as I was having a crisis placing a parent in assisted living. [Name removed] immediately attended to my needs and took the time to listen-despite my being an emotional wreck. The facility is absolutely stunning and the residents seem to be having a great time. After viewing the apartments and the dining room; I would live there! The Social is the place to be!

The Social at Savannah is really nicely laid out, we like the easiness of the building and they have a beautiful courtyard in the center. All of the staff members so far have just been wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. When we come to visit we can see all the different activities they have going on for the residents and they seem to be great. At the end of the day obviously we would like to be spending less but we do think we are getting a good value and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Our loved ones really enjoys the bingo and the other activities they offer, however she does say the food could be better. It is a friendly community, a staff that really cares for the residents, and a clean facility but the meals could be improved.
